There is nothing bad about having AI camera. You can capture raw and play with them in Photoshop using other phones too, but unlike them Xperias do not give you the alternative (on the level that other phones do).
@@andrewverden459 If you have an iPhone, you capture photos for shjt Instagram/Facebook/Twitter post. If you have an Xperia phone, you are a photographer - you are controlling the camera, not leaving it to the garbage AI.

I may have to get the 1 IV if it dies before the 1 V release, which wouldn't be a big deal. At least I could get it at a discounted price. :)

I tried your recommendation of keeping the ISO at 100 and adjusting the shutter speed to avoid clipping the histogram. Just when I think I am learning, you drop auto ISO haha Great pictures.
What you're doing is great! I just went with auto ISO (even though there wasn't a lot of light) is because I really wanted to focus on moving around quickly and focusing more on things around me versus getting the ideal shot. There's a time and place for every method! Thanks for watching!

Good pictures! Do you always edit the Raw? I have noticed that the Raws on my Xperia 5 IV have less information than on the old 5 Mark II. Too much noise and little detail. Lately it seems that the JPG has more detail. Greetings !
Sorry for the late reply! Yeah I usually always edit the DNG before posting anywhere. Not to say I don't like the JPEGs though. I actually do usually like them
Green tint update: I sent it in to Sony Repair under warranty and now my green tint issue is fixed! They ended up replacing the motherboard and sent it back to me within a week. Just something to consider if it ends up bothering you a lot 👍🏼

@@ShibiChan Try it out, the Smooth and easy way" Japanese Stuff Channel " does subs is, I think, really good also really hard. Not saying you need to sub in vid. use the yt subs. Otherwise it maybe cost prohibitive. Ramblac is gonna be another contender that you might not be able to go up against, smart phone vr. big beautiful rig. Your channel might change since (1 v) is around the way. Don't know how much you can do with comparison there. Id say turn to your eye on your favorite aspect of JPN. I think you have the talking head chops, the polish of your channel is good, your eye is good, fuxxin go for it. Be yourself, to a point, since you are in JPN and on YT, but know yourself.
I've used the iPhone 13PM as well as many recent Sony devices. I'm not knowledgable enough on display tech to really be able to give you a good answer though. I like both a lot. I really like the creator mode on Sony, but iPhone displays are obviously really great too. You may be able to play around with calibration on iOS, but I'm honestly not 100% sure

I saw a reddit threat shows that this phone failed miserably in low light compared to Samsung and Vivo, I really don't think that guy who did the review knows how to use this camera.
I've taken 20 minute long 4K video without overheating! If I know I'll be recording a lot, I put it in airplane mode. That helps a lot I think. But for shorter clips I haven't had any problems keeping it on 5G as normal

Have you tried to take a video in 4k for a few minutes? Is it overheating?
