you can put brushless if you want, but not really a need for it. if you want control.

@@mattykobs its not about the weight. i was saying "power / weight ratio" the brushless motor had up enourmous power without balancing with the weight.
too much power can be fun to watch..Hard to drive and easy to break... and that Traxxas knows it!
over powering 1/16 rc is not really fun.. its like making a 200 hp car become a 3000 hp car.
while over powering a large 1/10 or even 1/8 model you might end up with a feeling of a 200 hp to a 900 hp model.
i upgrade a my 1/18 model with a 7200kv motor... way too fast... now i have to reduce the size of the wheels.
nimh and brushed with a plastic drive shaft? not even a slipper clutch either. I know all the components are upgradable... but Traxxas you need to step your game up, not down. let's see a 2wd buggy or SC chassis with a mid motor, maybe a solid rear axle or something completely new that doesn't cost 1000++ dollars here in canada (xmaxx). I love my slash 4×4 and my 1/16 rally and summit, but stay relevant traxxas!

Just got my rally the other day I'm very impressed I'm thinking of adding the castle 3s esc system make it more of a ripper the most feared in my rc club...
I would love to see this on a half dirt half asphalt course, kind of like the x-games rally course in Los Angeles.
I would like to drive it on ice and snow here in Norway!

I don't have the Deegan 38 Fiesta ST Rally, but if I were to choose a location, I would choose a frozen lake, with ice skaters on it. It would be cool to see how people would react to a tiny RC slidding everywhere! xD

The Titan 12T is gonna be way underpowered to push a 4x4 chassis around.

I want one so bad it would be cool to have a lower car I have a 2wd slash and a 4wd stampede and there both high up it would change the way I think of traxxas ( normally off-roaders)

The Video, Definitely don't make me want to run out and buy one , and as far as a promotional video ... TRAXXAS .. FAIL. The Video to me , came off looking like a cheap $20 toy not anything Traxxas is capable of .. there definitely was No ahhhhh factor.... Waaayyy too expensive for a brushed motor and small scale size. Price too high. If it was brushless it'd be on my preorder list by now.

These things are getting wrecked, let's not ignore how the body is scrapping before and after every jump, enjoy the crashes and buying bodies all the time
my traxxas grave digger stopped working and there's a clicking sound coming from the motor when I roll it. what's wrong with it?
Not much droop for landings. Where’s the suspension travel? It nosed in on every jump you showed in this video.

Traxxas, is there an R/C by you guys that can change gears while in motion? I have the 1/10 scale Summit, and I like that I can change gears, but I have to be stopped for it to work. So this is a question, but if you guys don't have one, then an idea! It would be the ultimate drag racing R/C, when you would have to actually shift while in motion. I want to say that it is a slip clutch, but I'm not entirely sure. My dad would know ;)

I love the body. I'll probably put it on my slash 4x4. For this rig, you'll want to upgrade the motor to brushless and get a aluminum center driveshaft.

I love it if I had it I would drive it all over my property except for the rock crawl and I would get to go fast right now 2 of my truck just suck and don't work and my crawler is fun but some time I just want to bash!

That is pretty good timing! I made that post last night and today they announced the 4TEC 2.0 with the Ford GT body! I actually was hoping Traxxas was going to release a smaller version of the the XO-1, so as soon as they put a brushless system in it we will have what we have been waiting for since the XO-1!
