Few years later... :) February 29th, 2024 (I think :) ). Standing in a thrift store looking at an OSC1200 :) Thanks for the review. Looking for something to connect line lever from an Atari Falcon 060. Looks like this may make final inline equipment for the Bird. Wish I could settle on a decent speaker set included on the solder rework bench for "human level" testing :)
Hello, could you please gently confirm if the main fuses (F1a and F1b) for model 1200 are slow blow or standard type? (Couldn´t identify in the video) Thanks in advance!
I have one of these and it makes that transformer hum. Is that just normal for these? I thought it was a grounding issue maybe. I also have a tube works power amp that's dead quiet so the hum from the qsc had me alarmed. But I'm a beginner so i don't know what's normal yet between different models and years.
Just recapped my 1200 with Nichicon and Panasonic caps and replaced the pots. Great sounding little amp.
Nice amp, I use it for 2 compression drivers rated at 60 wrms each and sound very celan!

Yes there is not much in the way of shielding all 3 of my QSC amps from this line put out audible hum.
