- A large city based map has come to BeamNG Drive, so naturally i have to go exploring and cause some chaos.

I sense a new destruction series with this off road track

Its an update for a sequential gearbox, hence the drill sound.
You should do a sort of combination of The Wreckoning and the Canyon Rally series on that offroad course - you hotlap multiple cars, and they compete on a leaderboard - but how many laps they get depends on how long they survive - so an ultra-fast car might get a great first lap, but crash out on the second, meaning they didn't get a flying lap. Loving this new map though xD
Apparently that "vacuum " sound is a sound bug with the turbos . I'm glad because it was really getting to me
Now the question is which track will be the new series

Mr OutlawZ Accept multiplayer (online) isn't going to exist for a long time. Or even at all.
C.Stewart Gaming well the older brother of this game (Rigs of Rods which is basically the origin of Beamng) has multiplayer, and some of the devs from that game is now working on beamng, so multiplayer is possible but we'll have to see

E_M_E_T the chicanes on the straight was definitely Circuit De La Sarthe, so I guess they took real tracks and combined them

When you’re done with the pine hills racing series you should use the circuit you showed us
If you go to the drag strip in the motorsport park, the starting lights actually work which I thought was a neat touch. Just a shame that there's no time at the finish.
once pine hills rally is done, you should do a series starting on the racetrack then going into a gymkhana style course in the city, with a section in the storm drain!

I love how the main city is a mix of San Francisco and LA and how the race track mixes in turns from race tracks in California and some others too. Really well designed map. Looks as if I'd really see these roads where I live since I'm from California lmao

Beam NG drive San Francisco
That race track you have startet on looks pretty nice. Some other gamedeveloper, which have launched the seventh game with lots of bugs recently, could learn a lot of how phantasy tracks can be done in a good way.
(Me one second ago) My graphics card is dead but i want to see this new map...hmm... i don't really want to watch some random youtube video. i'll just wait for a failrace video on it.

Destroy more circuits, i mean cars. That first turbo sounded like a Gas Station Vacuum while the last one sounded like a Weed Wacker in a cup.
That actually does look a lot like San Francisco. The hills are actually not to unrealistic. SF has all these little (not so little) parks on hills that are steeper than realistic for development.
Probably my new favorite map on Beam NG, been playing a bit of GTA lately and the map reminds me of San Andreas.
As for how runs for me, I have a Ryzen 5 1600x with a RX 480 nItro and 16 gbs of ddr4 ram and the lows run in the 40s/50s with highs in the 80s/90s so i have an average in the mid 60s.
Generally Beam runs perfect on high settings if not maxed on a few, but i am very impressed with the latest update

I guess it's time to upgrade fron a GTX 760 to a 1060, would go 1080 but I'm working with a high school budget which is basically getting $20 every 2 weeks for mowing the lawn
I think the bridge is meant to represent the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge as it has cris-cross beams on the bridge towers and the double decker architecture plus the the official wiki mentions the city area being like SF and the map geographically being like Oakland(not a coincidence!)
This reminds me so much of Midtown Madness 2's San Francisco map.
Build a gymkhana course a la Ken Block. That would be a fantastic series.
I would NOT be surprised if they started making some form of MASSIVE interconnected world by somehow stitching maps together.

Was drifting around the new map in a T-Series earlier.. Got anoyed that even tho the major changes were vast.. They still broke my damn mods.. I had a custom diesel engine with custom sounds.. And both are broken again.. lol
Imagine BeamNG.Drive with full on physics like Battlefield, everything would be destructible..

Such a good looking map, you should try and plot a track and have a new race series, maybe West Coast Time Trials.

Drive to destruction on the dirt course full out only brake at the corners street wheels and race suspension? Sounds like chaos

My pc is quite good, I average 50- 60 FPS at high settings in BeamNG, but damn this map can give your FPS a beating. It drop to around 36 frames. Time for more ram I guess XD
Alex_ AE86 What specs do you have ? Because I get around the same as you do. But why would you add more RAM when it probably is your video card being bottlenecked ?

According to you, is my lack of overall desktop RAM limiting the potential of my video card?
I miss red what you said, sorry. My computer can definitely handle the graphics.
However, BeamNG is quite hardware intensive, so a large map is probably putting a bigger load on my desktop ram. I also have an outdated CPU which could be bottlenecking my video card
I have the same thing with my rig. I think it's the CPU (also a third generation Intel) as my GPU is not at 100% usage. Maybe it'll be time to upgrade in the next year to Ryzen.
I think it would be better if you would switch cars more often.
