- In this somewhat altered version of stop the beast i drive a variety of vehicles in attempt to survive for 10 minutes while a selection of aircraft do their stop me.

Driving a massive semi truck down economy-sized Italian roads. Seems like a great idea!
What an odd car/combo choice, but thankfully didn't effect the entertainment value of the video for the most part
I mean... There's a scenario where you have to deliver a Tasti Cola to one of those towns with a semi truck AND the trailer, you know... And that one is harder than it looks.
This was a fantastic game mode! I'd love to see an aircraft-attack version of bulldog, too
Laddo is that annoying fly that gets into the house and you're not quite sure how it got in.

One thing with the T series is that if theres even a little bit bent on the front bumper, at certain angles of steering it can lock one front wheel until you steer away.

That truck handled for an impressively long time missing its entire bodywork, radiator, and one front wheel while being on fire. It did not die until it was flipped upside down. What a determinator!
Well it has an 8L diesel engine so it's pretty much indestructible.
@@jwalster9412the whole thing was smoking and in flames but it still trugged on with leaking pressure tanks , on fire ,piston rings gone , clutch beginning to fail, cab ripped off , brakes failing, engine overheating, rod bearing on the brink. 9:10

@@Madanbek_The_Dragon_Lover Yeah, in BeamNG, Snowrunner, real life. Locked diffs screw up turning on hard surfaces.
The sleeper could have extended before you reached the first axel. It would have been a proper condo on wheels.
@@Madanbek_The_Dragon_Lover When you're going around a corner, your outside wheels naturally spin faster than your inside wheels. A locked diff forces both wheels to spin at the same speed, so taking a corner at speed with a locked diff can lead to heavy understeer or a damaged differential.

Great video as always, one suggestion for future Stop The Beast episodes: if you're stationary for 10 seconds you're "caught," so you can't spend a lot of time on your side hoping to get flipped back onto your wheels.
Also I liked 11:18 with a plane crashing into your truck as you pass the airline advertisement.
Would it be possible to get instant replays from the POV from the other players? I know some of them also have their own UA-cam Channels and would be a good way to promote them by having their replay and the Channel name along side it for good moments.

Gotta shout out the Excavating Company I worked for as a kid because that first rig has the exact same livery as my old Mack Fuel Truck for SW Rodgers in Manassas, Virginia.

Seeing the near misses from the helicopters and planes makes me want to see a chase camera from perhaps a recording account that's zoomed quite far out, so we can see the aircraft passing by and where they end up when they miss.
I saw leathercap's video first, you can see a ton of the action.
Today I learned that BeamNG doesn't consider a driver or a steering wheel essential parts of being able to steer.
You could do a GREAT hunt the survivors with this mode. Something like Jets la Vista in GTA V.
I wonder if the race spec T-80 tank could survive this, unlike the BTR-80 apc the tank mod has a somewhat proper damage model.
I love the "survive the..." series, and this is a great addition

I’d love to see any of the “survive” style lives with random cars but each round you get to improve 1 thing about your car! You get spawned in a crazy vehicle and then you’d have to decide which thing you want to fix or replace each round until you have an amazing car ❤

That would be cool to do it again but you have a co-pilot (just a passenger in the car) like in the SBR4 warning you about incoming air kinetic weapons !

It was the spring brake, auto activated when air runs out, a safety measure to prevent people from driving a truck with broken brakes
I'm currently driving a 2023 kw t680, my transmission even relies air pressure to operate and according to the operating manual the truck will remain in neutral when low air pressure is present before the brakes are locked up. Thinking it's a safety feature, brake lock up at 65 mph doesn't sound fun

This is probably my favorite version of this game mode you've made. Lots of fun to watch. I'm curious to see how tough the vehicle would have to be to survive.
I have noticed a very strange thing youtube has been doing. UA-cam says I have watched this video from start to end (indicated by the red line at the bottom of the video thumbnail) but I know for a fact that I have never watched this. This has happened twice on two different channels...

I think the best way to kill this with the aircraft is to hit it head-on. You get to chew up the tires with your few seconds of debris.

The addition of pressure tank damage has really weakened the t series for this kind of thing

Runs just fine.
Well the wheel isn’t one of the drive wheels, all Beamng vehicles are remote controlled from a module in the engine, and Alex didn’t live long enough for the fire to overheat stuff.

well look you were having fun and the players were having fun trying to knock the crap out of you amy was having fun watching everybody's perspective on hitting you we were all having fun here watching you get hit. I don't know if they had a point system on how much would be treated person hate you they got points or something like that but they were keeping track of who was it and who and when who did the most damage to you tactically I don't know if Lato won the last one because he whacked you into the tree which is a nice hit too by that though. and even said you thought you were having more fun at times but she did say they were having the most fun attacking you and trying to get you to run and hide and do whatever you needed to do to survive joe got you good a couple of times too if I remember correctly Anyway it looks like a fun game Glad everybody enjoyed it we certainly did watching it.
