The Thai entertainment industry, especially in acting is very difficult for foreigners, even for those who speak Thai fluently. Except for if you're Thai mixed, it will be a different case. Your popularity will be more than the average actor/actress. In this industry, Foreigners who speak Thai perfectly are mostly like influencers and content creators (Even simple content like "foreigners teasing Thai people" or "foreigners reaction to Thai things" can get a lot of views.) And foreigners who do not speak Thai fluently are mostly in the modeling and advertising, the models from the Russian zone is particularly popular because their face still has a slight Asian look, many ones look like half white half asian. (Foreigners almost have a monopoly in the categories like cosmetics and clothing, especially white child models)
your talk was really motivating, i hope you enjoy your time studying❤ waiting for more videos!!💕
thank you so much! I’m glad to hear that 🥹
Hi! I hope you are doing well. I know it is hard to study abroad. I'm Thai and have been studying in the US for 7-8 years. Living alone is hard, and the struggle is real. I'm currently a Ph.D. student but still questioning my life choices. Getting a job in a foreign country is complicated, but there will be a solution. I wish you all the best.
thank you so much for sharing your experience! it’s kinda relieving to know that I’m not the only one questioning my life choices here hahah
it is indeed very challenging to just BE a foreigner in a country, leave alone getting a job
wish you all the good luck too!
Love your video! I totally understand the frustrations you get about the weather and the bus (bc same girl😭), but I still hope you have many good days and that you still enjoy the stay here!
Hi Ria, l enjoy your VDOs. I think you should talk to your school counselor too about what kind of jobs that you can find as a international studen and also what should you study. I hope you'll be successful in college. 😊😄
I’m Thai and I totally understand your feeling abt those buses. It’s so annoying and takes a lot of time to go back and forth. Hope you enjoy living here 😊
Hey cool videos! This autumn I'm also going to be studying in Bangkok, Salaya (Mahidol University International College: Bachelor of Business Administration) for my exchange semester. Now I can already kind of see what to expect in Bangkok :) Keep it up!

Are you planning to change university and can you please make a video about UTCC in which you tell everything about it .................
Hi! It’s unlikely that I’m gonna transfer. What exactly do you want to know about UTCC?
예쁘다 !
Thanks!☺️
Hello i am an Indian student and I want to do my bachelor degree in computer science in bangkok can you help me a bit.
What do you want to know?

😉Wish you all the best!👍
พูดไทย ได้หรือยังครับ

does utcc provide accommodation? or do you have to rent a condo
Hi! You have to find your accommodation yourself, but not a condo necessarily
I’m currently a sophomore in school and I want to go to Thailand for college (idk what I want to major in) but I was curious what program did you go through, was it hard to get accepted? I have so many questions 😅
Hi! First things first, please don’t go to college unless you figure out what major you are interested in. Getting accepted is not difficult at all, if we are talking about private universities. They accept everyone.
Another thing is public universities, but as long as you are a good student with some extracurriculars and a goal in mind, I think it is still not that difficult. If you have the opportunity to study in a public universitiy like Chula, Thammasat, Mahidol, SWU, I’d say go for it. Check the requirements in advance and start working on yourself now, so that you can boost your chances of getting in.
As for me, getting in wasn’t hard. I was accepted into every university I applied, both private and public. My choice was dependent on the scholarship.
But prior to my application, I did do a lot of things to enhance my portfolio. Good luck!
@@riainthailand Hii thanks for the reply! Yeah I’m looking into majors and trying to do extracurricular activities for my portfolio. But I thought public universities would accept anyone instead of private universities?? I do wanna look into getting into chula or just any good university that’s available. How did you get a scholarship tho?
Hi! @@riainthailand
I didn't ask the question but thank you so much
(Hopeful South African 9th grader)
No, it’s the other way around! Public universities are harder to get it. Chula is good tho! Best of luck ✊🏻
@@riainthailand thank you 😭😭😭

มหาวิทยาลัยกรุงเทพ Bangkok University , Fun fact it located in Pathum Thani Province north of Bangkok.😂😂😂
I'm still watching it on 1.5x 😅😪 and can you speak louder 😅
Are you Russian? Why do you speak English without a Russian accent? Also did you go to Thailand because of the influence of bl dramas?
Hiii!!! Thank you for your comment! 🫶🏻
Yes, I am Russian :) I’m really happy that you think I speak without a Russian accent 🥹 It’s because I’ve been diligently and purposefully working on my pronunciation since I was 14-15 years old
And yes, BL dramas played in role in my decision to move to Thailand to study 🤭
@@riainthailand Do you have any recommended websites for renting an apartment in Bangkok?^^
