- Do you want to know how to Restore Save Data on the PS4 and Fix Lost Game Progress in Signal Player Games or Online Multiplayer Games? This is very easy to do. On the PS4, you can automatically upload your saved game data. If you are a PS Plus member, go to settings, then select application saved data management. Now select online storage and pick the game you want to download your game progress for. Like GTA 5, Elder Scrolls, Witcher, FIFA. Now the game data is on your PS4 as opposed to the online cloud.

@@jsmoot Yo I was told that if you delete your acc it will erase everything saved in it that includes data and the gallery. Because its like putting your account on a new ps4 it would be empty same as deleting it.

i’m in disbelief man, my console reset because it was stuck in safety mode and i thought i lost it all. thank you so much!!!!
So, quick story for those who might be in my situation.
I redownloaded Dishonored 2 after a year, and it wouldn’t let me continue my last save file due to being only at 57% installed file. So I waited. 5 min later still 57%.. 10-15-20 min later- STILL at 57%. I had no idea what was happening so I started looking into these vids and found this one. 👆 It definitely worked, BUT when I got back on it went to 72%.. so I thought it only recovered a tiny bit. Checked back again 5 min later and It went to 88%. EVENTUALLY it was recovered, but I believe this guy saved the day.
For whatever reason, it needed some more time IDK but it worked so thank you so much for this! 🥺 I was going to cry.

Did you check your online storage? I'm not sure if they save it online when you're not a member, but if you check your online storage and it's empty then you might have lost it.

Sadly I cannot do this since I started playing uncharted 1 AFTER I had wifi cut off so I was playing offline and unlucky me I got corrupted data. I cannot find another solution for this, while I never had psn auto upload. I was on BRUTAL difficulty and almost done 😭

My problem is, I started playing a game, dying light 2, a while back. A friend of mine gave me his ps4 along with a bunch of games. I started playing the game under his user account. After over 100 hours in, and a plethora of achievements, resource collecting and leveling up, I decided that I wanted to be logged in to my own account instead. So I deleted his user account and started using mine. Next thing I know, I go back to dying light 2, and my only option is to begin a new game. There are few things more devastating in this world than this.

Shame I don't have PSN; I took my USB storage from PS4 to PS5, loaded up RE2R and only have one completed run. I lost most of my achievements, too.
I put it back on the PS4, but it's exactly the same. Nothing was stored to the console, only the extended storage.
So, lesson learned, I will transfer data a different way. Thought it was too easy to be true.
