Wilson Disease Tremor Improvement with Treatment

Tarsha Kennedy was diagnosed with the neurological form of Wilson disease in 2019. She started treatment with trientine, which is a medication that removes excess dietary copper from the body. It's referred to as chelation therapy. This video shows the dramatic improvement Tarsha experienced in her tremor over six months with daily medication use. Wilson disease is a rare genetic liver disease in which the body cannot metabolize dietary copper. Without diagnosis and treatment it's fatal.
