So, when we look from point of research and development, reliability and other factors, Sony have an edge over the Acer branded TV. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying their TV's are not good, but it's definitely not preferable over Bravia 2. Kindly let me know your budget range so as I can suggest some worthy options.

Picture quality depends on other factors too along with whether it's qled or qned, for example : processor used. Processor upscales and enhances overall experience. Hence, every factos is considered. But for here I would say, qled with MINI LED backlight is more preferable from my point of view because , qned uses Edge lit backlight.
