My father was my inspiration for style and he still is, though he past away 22 years ago. My father was a young man in the 30s and 40s and always dressed as a wealthy man, though he had modest means. He always looked sharp as a razor. When I was young and I dressed to go out, I always asked how I looked. His approval ment everything to me. Today, I am 64 and I always asked my father on how I look and I can still hear him say, "Sharp as a razor! " I have adopted his style of the classic herring bone sport coats, Ivy league Penny loafers and dress shirts. Now, I dress in honor of my father. He would be horrified to see older men dressed as children. My father is my inspiration to dress like a gentlemen in his honor. I was so Blessed to have my father as long as I did to teach me how to act and dress as gentlemen. I miss him dearly.😥
My mother has an impecable taste for clothing. Her mother was a child of high society and due to circumstances, became a hardworking farmer. She made all my mother's clothing and taught her how to always be properly dressed. I was 18 when I decided I needed to learn how to dress and the British TV show Doctor Who gave me my inspiration. Peter Capaldi was my tole model in my 20s for how to dress. He was a mix of formal and punk and it was a middle ground between Tony Stark and church.
The French musician/composer Jean-Michel Jarre has been a classy, somewhat understated dresser for decades. His fashion sense is tasteful, yet has zip. His hairstyles have evolved as well. He looks younger than his years without looking foppish. I can confidently take some fashion cues from him to keep my 60-something style more fresh, yet understated.
I appreciate your modesty - you deserve a place in this list. I think Ryan Masters deserves the list because how he nails the Vest/Waistcoat and Boots And of course! I almost forgot to mention Jeremy at Jeremy Fragrance - I just love this guy and how he teaches men to use the power of fragrance
You're a true master of style, your commentary on each of these gentlemen tells us how much of student of men's fashion you are. I've worked in the industry for many years (OK decades), yet I still learn something from your videos. Well done, sir. Cheers
Tom Ford, Hugo Jacomet and Sven Raphael Schneider is on the top of my list. But not to be forgotten is Kirby Allison, his dedication to style, care and detail is something I hold highly. His love for shoes should not be ignored.
Your channel along with TMF helped send me over this slippery slope! Couldn't be happier with my decision though, I have never been more confident in both my formal wear and my casual outfits around campus. I've got friends and even my little brother asking for advice now, keep up the great inspiration. We all appreciate your work and your style as well!
Oliver Rozario He was mentioned for Thomas Crowne and James Bond (to a lesser extent), but the way Pierce dressed in Remington Steele was simply impeccable.
Honestly my biggest inspiration in style has always been, and still is, the character Neil Caffery(?)(sorry can't spell) from White Collar. He is nearly always in a suit but when he dresses casual looks great. His manners are also on point and is a true gentleman, now he is a con man so that has a little to do with it. Also he takes great care of his body and that, I believe, is one of the cornerstones of being stylish. Not saying that bigger men can't be stylish but it my opinion that fit men generally need a little less work to look great. Also Neil is quite the ladies man. He was one of my first real looks into the world of men's fashion and looking good at all times and he is still my main inspiration.
I think it is important to "dress for success." Taking pride in the way you look shows that you have pride in yourself. Sure, there are occasions and jobs that it would be best if you dressed down, but for social gatherings, or even if you are just going to the store to shop, you should dress as if you take pride in the way you look. I witness on a daily basis people who just look outright sloppy wearing clothing that looks as if they rummaged through a thrift shop's garbage and reject pile to find their attire. I pride myself on looking the best I can, even at work where at times I may be working on a ladder inside a drop ceiling, moving equipment or crawling under things, (I work in the I.T. industry,) but I still try to look my best. I lived in Europe for about three years and I remember having people comment that they were shocked to find out I was an American. When asked why, they replied that I didn't dress like most Americans they have seen in their respective countries. They said I wan't dressed "sloppy" and that Americans in Europe, for the most part, and sadly, are easy to pick out in a crowd because they are the ones who "dress sloppy." This I feel is a sad reflection on our country's people as a whole.
My vote would go to.... Telly Savalas :-) Maybe he wasn't the sharpest dressed man, but he did well and he was one of the first to fully embrace "lack of hair" :-)
My spirit animal of fashion is Neal Caffrey from White Collar played by Matt Bomer. Caffrey just has it together casual or formal. He was really big in mixing up suiting which I really hadn't seen before him. Also, he really pushed the slim fit suit. His tailoring really opened up my eyes to how clothes should fit.

I like Kenny Chesney’s style the most because it’s a well known relaxed/beachy style combined with his country roots in Tennessee. That’s what I am more drawn to for my own personal style.
Great list. I think it’s missing a few key people that would push it all the way to the top including: 1.Christopher Korey (Instagram; The Christopher Korey collective) 2.Davidson Petit Frère (Musika Frère) 3.James (Ghost) St. Patrick from “Power” on Starz 4. Roger Sterling of Mad Men 5.Shannon Sharpe (his last name is quite apt I might add) 6.Bradley Cooper
Hi , might add Okey the king of drape and presenter of the Ask Okey pod cast . He has incredible style and taste . Many thanks and keep up the good work we need more stylish and well dressed men to swell our ranks .
David Bowie & Anthony Bourdain are my top inspirations. For rockers Steven Tyler & Joe Perry, The Stones and Adam Ant. I’ve seen all these people in person up close and they nail it in my opinion - even when they’re wasted.
Great list Antonio, with lots of stylish men and loads of style idea's to play around with, I personally would have also added Alexander Kraft, George Raft, Jeff Goldblum, Jamie Foxx, Henry Cavill especially for his outfits as Napoleon Solo, Cary Grant (twice) and of course the iconic Sir Michael Caine.
I feel like you should take this idea a bit further and do a whole video on one person's style and really brake it down maybe give some recommendations of clothes/brands/stores to go to, to achieve the style they have.
My style inspiration has been Sven Raphael Schneider and Bing Crosby, who happens to be my favourite musician as well. I was always dressed sloppy and these two men changed my life. Big words you'll say,but dressing up when others don't, helped me develop a strong, musculine character and this literally helped me and opened many doors for me
Wish you just broke it down into a multi part series and gone into detail about the finer details of each man's style and what is their signature look.
I liked what he included, but I also think he should have kept it in multiple episodes. In my opinion 59 people is too much for a single one and makes the video too long and feels almost repetitive.
You are the king of youtube mens fashion videos. You always look super sharp. Your explanation and details is unparalleled. .super impressed . thanks so much
Don Cherry - The man is not afraid to wear bright loud colors and wears them confidence. He has his own style with big collars and thick ties, a mix of classic style with the bright collars sets him apart from anyone else. He has a weekly show in Canada about hockey called coaches corner and shows off a different look each week definitely check him out.
I buy my cloths in C&A, as they are the only place in town that has trousers that actually fit me, but then I go to the fitters to have the clothes fitted exactly to my taste and size. You should really try that, it's not perfect, but most wouldn't know the difference ;-)
How is Alex Turner not on this list?? He’s a rockstar to say the least. He’s one of the most credited for style out of the UK, the ladies are all over him, he’s incredibly handsome, not to mention he’s the frontman for the Arctic Monkeys, and many guys look up to him and his pictures are all over Instagram and Pinterest. And there are literally pages and forums on the internet of how to imitate his style. He is a Rock and Roll icon and it shows by the way he dresses. But he’s done a lot for fashion and music and and men’s style with referencing back to the 50s, the leather jackets, the immaculate hairstyle, the boots, the sunglasses, and his Americana casual wear is incredible. He’s a style icon!!! Cmon Antonio!! You seriously need to check out Alex Turner
Getting a haircut today - taking a picture of Nick Wooster I'm older, with grey hair, looking to do something a little different, but not classic. He nails it.
A few years back, I probably wouldn't call a youtuber a style icon... But jose zuniga got me into fashion. I would think its because I wanted the ladies lmao, but I genuinely felt great about looking nice that i didn't care who I impressed. I can't thank him enough for that. He led me to Aaron Marino, then he led me to this channel. And Antonio helped me realize that some of my favorite celebrities can dress like a stud. I recently got my first suit and It felt great choosing it on my own, and I would definitely say youtubers are style icons
Not only is having the dosh to buy decent threads essential, but maintaining a healthy body weight also helps. Not many fat dudes in this presentation. Enjoy RMRS immensely.
As a grey haired man in his 50's I have always Steve McQueen and Cary Grant for style ideas. The last five were totally on point (especially Thomas Crown Affair -McQueens is the best version). Two you left off John Slatterly and Arsene Wenger.
So very well done. Thank you. It was wonderful to see hats coming back. A that touch of class. Long overdue. Bravo ! And again, thank you for the pleasure of men's fashion coming home.
I feel I've got a few controversial style influences; most obviously that I took my haircut from a Hitlerjungen photo of two kids learning to use a rifle. Another inspiration would be young Ted Kaczynski's "woodsman" look with a lot of natural dark colours in button ups and Henleys. Then you've got Sonny Crockett from Miami Vice as a more normal pick, simple yet dressy
@@RealMenRealStyle You should add waaaaaay more examples of men who are dressed more on the casual side. In this video it's like you're saying: 'Put on an expensive suit and you can call yourself a fashion icon'. That is not inspirational at all. Most people don't have the money for that, and suits aren't very practical either, I guess.
Clicked the video for JOSE.... Though he was not in thumbnail but when I read the title of the video then I was sure that Zuniga would be rocking here DEFINITELY💕
Great video worth several views or reads. Gray Grant, Steve McQueen & cinematic Bond along with C. McGregor & Hugo Jacomet yes. There are several others I need to look into as I think they are closer to my age/style. Have to go back over this list to be more definite about my preferences. Thanks for the inspiration.
Did I miss anyone on this list? Let me know!

Real Men Real Style lol Antonio, I was going to make the same video next weak, you did a great job and included a lot of my favorite actors!
John Mayer if you're into street style 😍😍
Real Men Real Style In my opinion, mads mikkelsen as hannibal lecter should be on the list. His style is the definition of a gentleman.
Real Men Real Style I'd go for hugh jackman and bradley cooper maybe.
ross creations does it looks like I need sub4sub?

You are VERY welcome Raphael!
Where the hell was mads mickelson??/??/
You are my Inspiration Raphael!
Rafa i thank you boys
Rafa the gaffa of formal wear..
I love how you included a variety of skin colors, builds, and heights. Really helps people like me, a shorter, bulky, tanned Asian guy :)
This is 5 years old and it’s still relevant in late 2022! Thanks. No wonder I felt so out of phase with the rest of the world.
Great compilation! . Steve McQueen style is masculine and timeless. For me is the icon to be followed. Thanks!
How about...
John Wick?
Good one Neil! Maybe for my 2018 list.
Definitely!
Neo - what do you think of a John Wick vs James Bond video?
Real Men Real Style that would be incredible!
I was looking for him in the list 😊
That was a great list Antonio. You're the No. 1. :)
Thanks Mayank!! Hope all is well!
My mother has an impecable taste for clothing. Her mother was a child of high society and due to circumstances, became a hardworking farmer. I think Ryan Masters deserves the list because how he nails the Vest/Waistcoat and Boots
And of course! I almost forgot to mention Jeremy at Jeremy Fragrance - I just love
this guy and how he teaches men to use the power of fragrance
You're a true master of style, your commentary on each of these gentlemen tells us how much of student of men's fashion you are. I've worked in the industry for many years (OK decades), yet I still learn something from your videos. Well done, sir. Cheers
How did we miss this video?! Thanks for the love!
Dwayne Johnson! Tall with a muscular frame. The way he dresses in Ballers is immaculate!
That's a FACT
Tom Ford, Hugo Jacomet and Sven Raphael Schneider is on the top of my list. But not to be forgotten is Kirby Allison, his dedication to style, care and detail is something I hold highly. His love for shoes should not be ignored.
I love how many different skin tones were represented. Antonio your videos get better and better.
Thanks Kinetic Viber! Who's your favorite style inspiration from the list?
Aaron Marino and Jose Zuniga because their channels are very active and I get plenty of ideas on how to expand my own style.
Is there a more racist statement, made by a man. Thankfully, your days are over, kinetic
My old man is my fashion icon.
I feel like Leonardo DiCaprio was missing
Jidenna, his hair color, complexion and bold style definitely make him one to add to the list.
Pierce Brosnan. the man just kills it literally with style every single time
Oliver Rozario He was mentioned for Thomas Crowne and James Bond (to a lesser extent), but the way Pierce dressed in Remington Steele was simply impeccable.
Antonio, I love that you had a "United Nations" of men.
Honestly my biggest inspiration in style has always been, and still is, the character Neil Caffery(?)(sorry can't spell) from White Collar. Dwayne Johnson dresses sharp in his show Ballers. For a tall built man like myself, he's got great suit style in that show
You’re a top guy - thanks for taking the time to compile this. Very inclusive and can see you’re a man with integrity !
You too deserve the place in the list !😍
Antonio. Hands Down.
MrRushSkies - Thanks for the mention! :)
-#60 Tiege Henley
Haha!
+Real Men Real Style that tiege henly dude is awsome and funny
Hats off to you Antonio you really went all the way through with men with different skin color and religions like turbans 💪🏽

One bald guy out of 59... Jason Statham maybe? Bruce Willis? It's hard to look as good as all these guys without a thick head of hair and product.
Yeah, I'd like to see some bald examples. Jason Statham is pretty good.
@Duke Of Prunes Not really? ever hear of bruce willis?
Joe Bastianich is a great bald icon, he always just looks sharp and clean.
My vote would go to.... Telly Savalas :-) Maybe he wasn't the sharpest dressed man, but he did well and he was one of the first to fully embrace "lack of hair" :-)

I like Kenny Chesney’s style the most because it’s a well known relaxed/beachy style combined with his country roots in Tennessee. That’s what I am more drawn to for my own personal style.
Hugo Jacomet inspires me I love his taste in clothes and shoes to me he's the quintessential expression of what it means to be well dressed.
Using Ryan Gosling as a fashion guide was probably one of the best decisions Ive ever made
Daniel Craig...
Elvis Bisily #56
Daniel Craig with his cardigans and Tom Hardy with his flannel...because that's pretty much all you can wear in Canada 10 months a year lol
Shahrukh
Great list. I think it’s missing a few key people that would push it all the way to the top including:
1.Christopher Korey (Instagram; The Christopher Korey collective)
2.Davidson Petit Frère (Musika Frère)
3.James (Ghost) St. Patrick from “Power” on Starz
4. Roger Sterling of Mad Men
5.Shannon Sharpe (his last name is quite apt I might add)
6.Bradley Cooper
This guy has class and he gives props to other UA-camrs. Take a note fellas I have. A true gentleman.
Hi , might add Okey the king of drape and presenter of the Ask Okey pod cast . He has incredible style and taste . Many thanks and keep up the good work we need more stylish and well dressed men to swell our ranks .
My addition would be the character Neal Caffrey from the tv show white collar, he is an ex con artist working for the FBI and always looks epic
nathan Elwell The actor is Matt Bomer for those that want to know
Alejandro Arevalo cheers for the info my man😉
nathan Elwell I was thinking the same thing. Love the Rat Pack style of the inimitable Sy Devore. He rocked it with those hats.

Real Men Real Style how about Antonio Centeno?
Brain Sakawa is the gentleman that has inspired me to do a complete wardrobe overhaul.
David Bowie & Anthony Bourdain are my top inspirations. For rockers Steven Tyler & Joe Perry, The Stones and Adam Ant. I’ve seen all these people in person up close and they nail it in my opinion - even when they’re wasted.
Best content STILL! Proper research! Deep understanding of archetypes and groups! U covered pretty much 80% in 17 Min! Bravo!

Thank you,i was waiting the whole video for McGregor 😂
Waiting for Marino,Zuniga and Costa as well
I look up to the kingsman and batman

I feel like Tom Hardy should of had a spot on the list or Joseph Gordon Levitt ?
Mike Arredondo Joseph Gordon Levitt hands down my go to guy
I think Tom Hardy had to be mentionend
Feels like you're waiting for someone to mention Christian Bale as well
I missed Mads Mikkelsen.
Palindromzahl 8448 seriously
Palindromzahl 8448 i agree
If you ever watch the show Letterkenny
I have the same "style" as Wayne, way before I even saw the show
You’re really an amazing role model and teacher. Thank you for all you do. Oh, and it was super cool of you to include international men to emulate!
Definitely George Clooney. Nice that you included your great pals Aaron, Jose, Brock and Brian. Missing John Galfano on the list.
60th Antonio centeno.😎
What about Dwaine "The Rock" Johnson?
A lot of the men you mention have their suits and shirts wear bespoke clothing made in Savile Row. Not everyone has that kind of money.
I buy my cloths in C&A, as they are the only place in town that has trousers that actually fit me, but then I go to the fitters to have the clothes fitted exactly to my taste and size.
You should really try that, it's not perfect, but most wouldn't know the difference ;-)
Doesn't matter. Look to the colours and patterns.

I recently got my first suit and It felt great choosing it on my own, and I would definitely say youtubers are style icons
What about Sergio Ramos . I think currently he ia the most stylish and well dressed football player
But not a really good person.. From a real madrid fun
You miss Robert Downey Jr. The iron man
eidil morra yeahhhhhhhhhh
eidil morra iron man bruce wane yep
Robert Downey’s style is kind of all over the place... He’s often pairing really loud patterns and textures, and it often comes off rather strange.
You missed Sterling Archer
There are many of them who are best in their style.
One group that looks amazing for MIDDLE EASTERN MEN
Mr. Erbil
These guys are ON POINT.
Harvey specter suit style icon!
Yeah, he always looked great. I even envied his pyjamas when he was just home in the morning. :D
Also I think you should add james spader ;)
He kills it in Blacklist
I like Spader
Confidence can boost from small steps ;)
For sure!
Aaron Marino shouts a lot in his videos xD
I always have to turn the volume down when watching his videos
Not only is having the dosh to buy decent threads essential, but maintaining a healthy body weight also helps.
Not many fat dudes in this presentation.
Enjoy RMRS immensely.
I'd like to add Leonardo DiCaprio, Alex Costa, David Beckham, Saif Ali Khan.
Alex costa 👍
David Beckham is number 21
Saif Ali Khan looks very good sometimes with his beard.
No David Beckham really?????????????????????????
Aren’t some of these on the list?
As a grey haired man in his 50's I have always Steve McQueen and Cary Grant for style ideas. The last five were totally on point (especially Thomas Crown Affair -McQueens is the best version). Two you left off John Slatterly and Arsene Wenger.
Just here to see if Aaron Marino is here 😏
He is!
I like Zac Efron's style I take inspiration from his style and lifestyle
Just here for SRK, KING KHAN❤️
What about Johnny Depp ? :-)
Should I create part 2 of this video?
@@RealMenRealStyle You should add waaaaaay more examples of men who are dressed more on the casual side. In this video it's like you're saying: 'Put on an expensive suit and you can call yourself a fashion icon'. That is not inspirational at all. Most people don't have the money for that, and suits aren't very practical either, I guess.
Yes, Johnny Depp!!!
Clown
He looks homeless
Clicked the video for JOSE....
Though he was not in thumbnail but when I read the title of the video then I was sure that Zuniga would be rocking here DEFINITELY💕
Idris Alba is a good start for me .... found this very useful, Thanx.
6:10 minutes in. I need that shirt.
12:27 "If you're looking' (...) to go your own path, (...) go check out Sven!"
How ironic...
JFK!
Heck, all the Kennedys ... have you seen Joe Kennedy III ...? Proves you can have curly, ginger hair, and still be pin-sharp ...
Great list Antonio. One other that I think deserves mentioning is Jeff Goldblum
Tom hardy
Brad pitt
Tom cruise
Chris pine
No James Dean?
Ryan Reynolds
Nice video! People I wrote down to learn from are: Ryan Gosling, Aaron Marino, Harvey Spector, Adam Gallagher
Five years later and we can still use this list.
