One of the best channels on UA-cam. Definitely deserves more of an audience. You sir are a great professor. Thank you for all your hard work. Look forward to other lecture videos.
My Lecture made 30 min presentation on this section using his 34 page document, while presenting he wasn't explaining anything but just saying you need to read this and that........ and his notes were so confusing he is a joke, and before I found your videos I even told my self that I won't answer this section in an exam but now I understand it completely thank you so much , you're a life saver.
Hi, by the looks of it your videos are thorough and cover everything my lecturer does in 30 mins. Subscribed and hoping to follow your methods to ace my tests and assignments. Linear algebra is no joke 🥺
Jordan. Thanks for a such a kind and helpful video over mathematics. I like it a lot. can I have a powerpoint slide or pdf format of the script, as I don't have the time to write all the details by myself. thanks.
No, we can’t because It’s the sub space of polynomials 3 or less that we are checking for (whenever you look for polynomial n, it’s polynomial n or less)
sir in the above example of a subspace where f(4)= -2 ; why not can we consider f(x)=(x^1/2) - 4 ????? . It can also give us a zero vector and also -2?
The "vectors" in this set are the functions. The zero function must be f(x)=0 in the vector space of all functions using normal addition and scalar multiplication. The set of functions such that f(4)=-2 does not contain f(x)=0 so it is not a subspace. f(x)=x^(1/2)-4 is in the set but not the ZERO function. You can also show that if two functions f and g are in the set, their sum f+g is not in the set. (f+g)(4) = f(4)+g(4)= -2+-2 = -4 so the sum of two functions in the set is not in the set. Therefore it is not a subspace. A good exercise is to show scalar multiplication does not work either.
I think there was a mistake with the polynomial vector subspace example the polynomial to check was from P3 not P2 I think that eventually got lost anyway who cares.
All of this appreciation aren't necessary this is not even a good explanation You should first understand before you teach us Are you professor or what I don't think so its so much wastage of time sorry for saying this
50 pages from books into 1 video only 1hour and 15mins, thank you so much for helping us.
You are an amazing teacher. My current university lecturer is a joke.
Agreed
same, i dont wanna be racist, but sometimes having a foreign professor makes it hard to learn cause his english is lowkey very broken
❤
All the concepts are clearly explained here. Thank you, it really helped our class learn a lot from these videos related to vector spaces.

YOU ARE THE GOAT. MY UNIVERISTY LECTURES ARE AN HOUR OF NONSENSE
You are the best. Thank you so much!
Thanks so much Doctor for the wonderful lecture on vector spaces and subspaces.

LOL! WHO ON THE EARTH CUD POSSIBLY FIND LINEAR ALGEBRA TOUGH?
@@jiaali6565 Somebody would probably tell the same to you, on the topics you find tough.

I have Never left a comment on a math video before but God. Sir, you have saved my grade.

wow... thank u soo much for helping me understand the concept
Thanks buddy it helps me a lot.
The best tutor online 🎉🎉
Amazing explanation sir🎉💐Thank you for this lecture
this is sooo good
Thanks جزاك الله خيرا
what if a I have p(x) = x⁴ - 2401 ?? this polynomial function fulfills the condition of p(7) = 0 but it's degree is more than polynomials of P³
Thank you alot
Where is this slides, please?
Great experience, ur inspiring me to pursue more maths academic field. Keep it from SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦 part of common wealth society 👏 👍 😉
you are an amazing teacher. thanks
Thank you.
I found your explanation very helpful sir. Thank you
Now it makes sense! Thank you so much!
Please if you don't mind ...please add the document your using of the description of this vid
Thank you sir
IT REALLY HELPFUL
Thnx sir g, keep it up, i got an idea about subspace after a lot of exploration
Thank you! What is benefit of specifying subspace? Aren't they vector space themself?
You are an amazing teacher.thanks
Please provide me the full playlist of vector space
thank you 😊
very educational, my budyy is watching it now.
for 33:26, we can also say that H is not a subspace of P3 because it encloses polynomials that belong to P2 or P1?
No, we can’t because It’s the sub space of polynomials 3 or less that we are checking for (whenever you look for polynomial n, it’s polynomial n or less)
Thanks Sir,🥰
