Could someone who works with audio please let us know which of these “40 Hz” videos is genuinely 40 Hz? They sound like different pitches through the same speakers. We are not listening for soothing awesomeness; we are listening for documented neurological benefits. Thanks!
@@rockonmadonna lol, well my friend is a sound producer with a BA in sound design from a trade school in L.A. He can easily produce a single frequency tone and we've cross check the levels of this audio file. The baseline in this file has lost quality, but the pitch is still in the 40hz range.
I dont' hear any sound any more. Used this about a year ago and it was fine. Tried again today and no audio. I get audio in other videos so I don't know what gives.
@@lamp7746 - headphones and speakers won't usually reproduce 40 hz without also producing 80 hz and often 160 hz. If you're hearing 80 hz already then doubling the speed will just give you more 80 hz sound. If you play the 40 hz recording at half speed it will be coming through at 20 hz (half frequency) and most speakers and headphones will create harmonics at 40 hz and 80 hz, so you'll still be hearing mostly 80 hz. It takes a pretty good amp and speaker to cleanly reproduce 40 hz, and you'll feel it a lot more than you'll hear it.

after i take my headphones off my hearing is a lot more sharp than usual for a few minutes, like real life sounds sound almost artificially enhanced
Thought that it was just me that felt like this.
Thank you. This is just the medicine I needed today.
Good for breaking in new subs ...although a bit high (my subs dive to 16Hz)
utterly fantastic with my subwoofers. drooooolll. this stimulates my brain and body
But does it djent?
This was actually surprisingly relaxing
I'm playing this and 30 hz at the same time and my headphones are having an aneurysm
same
brown noise supremacy
only thing i feel after listening this in headphones its my ears hurts after about 10-15 minutes with medium volume.
Dude turn it down then. Your ears shouldn’t hurt!

rockonmadonna Thank you for bringing up that issue. I often wonder if I’m really listening to the correct frequency or if I’m being duped.
Go listen to the sample Dr. Bartel plays in his Ted Talk. This is NOT 40 Hz here. This is clickbait.
Although low quality, this is, in fact, truly 40hz.
Devils Advocate, what are your credentials, please?

What is the cricket sound at higher levels?

What’s up with the sudden volume changes?
The pause button makes a sound 😳
Wow.
Relaxing
No matter what speed you change it to it sounds the same
That's fucking trippy
COOL!
You're probably hearing mostly harmonics.

except for that short sharp high blip around the 10 minute mark? otherwise great.
Hold down your space bar for crackle.
NICE!
genius
my speakers are making popping noises and I do not hear anything else
Is this binaural, momaural or isochronic? Some more info would be useful.

I don't hear a thing. 1 hour of emptyness
You might want to have a professional check your hearing

My cheap headphones don't play 40 hz either. Bye ... Interesting, though ...
Tested on a sound spectrum analyser and its 40hz.
I don't hear anything
Ronnie Libra you got an issue
You have bad headphones or bad speakers.
@@lamp7746 Or their hearing doesn't register this frequency.
