I'm so glad so many people found this helpful. I'm no expert on audio engineering and apologies to those who didn't find it helpful. Since I posted this 2 years ago, there have been many other videos posted that could be more reliable but here's a video on the how and why I created this for myself: ua-cam.com/video/aM9o3f2HJes/v-deo.html

A word of caution as Dr Andrew Huberman himself has said. This frequency works best before study or work and for only 20 minutes at a time. Listening to this for an hour without variation will give you a headache and make you irritable. He has also recommended 90 minutes of cognitive work and then a 10-20 minute break (that is another good time to listen to this). Im writing this while listening with headphones but I would not write an essay while listening its just too intense and does not vary. Other videos will vary but 40 hz pure is static. The variance is closer to what our brains do naturally. Just a thought.

Also, he said that's the normal case, in times of feeling harder to transition into full focus mode he will extend through the whole period of study

    1. **Before Work:** You might try listening to binaural beats for about 30 minutes while doing something else, then take a break, like eating lunch or taking a walk, before diving into your work. This is because it takes some time for your brain to shift into a state optimized for work.
    2. **During Work:** If you're feeling particularly distractable, you might keep the 40 Hertz binaural beats on the entire time you're doing cognitive work. This can help increase your focus and concentration.
    3. **Before a Workout:** I've found that using 40 Hertz binaural beats prior to a workout, particularly weight workouts, can help me focus on and contract specific muscles.
Remember, it's not necessary to use binaural beats every time you're doing a bout of work. I recommend using them as a tool to enhance focus when needed.

It used to be too energetic to be handled and was only used only on short bursts, now its tamed and I feel like I can finally harness it. I didn't know I missed feeling this calm. I had no expectation for this binaural beat to work so fine.

This works wonders. I can write down notes without feeling discomforts or in a rush. It even helps me in the morning for workouts. HOWEVER, I would recommend using it for more than 20 minutes as after a while, I feel my body being drained as my brain was spending extra energy fighting against a state this isn't my natural one. Great in moderation.

Listening to this for longer than 10 Minutes is possible. It always depends on the Person itself. You can become anxious and more if you are not used to it. It always matters on you. In my experience, everything over 30 Minutes can be very stressfull- Dr. Hubermann explains this in his Podcast about Binaural Beats.

I need to study & obviously retain what I learn, so I've been using 40hz binaural beats. 40 hz stimulates the mind while relaxing the body & that's my problem. When my body's relaxed my mind becomes relaxed too, lol, so I'm looking for 40 hz with 120 hz as the carrier
