- We're heading out on the Carnival Legend for a cruise to Alaska, but first... we've got time for some fun in Seattle! In this episode, we're exploring Seattle via the CityPass, which gives you admission to up to five attractions for one price. Join us as we ascend to the top of the Space Needle, then stroll through the beauty of the Chihuly Garden & Glass!! :D

Another great day in Seattle. The views from the Space Needle were incredible and a Space Needle spin! Chihuly glass is breathtaking. We have been to many of their exhibits and one of the museums nearby has a Chihuly glass ceiling. It is a joy to see you all experiencing these places. Thank you so much for including us in your wonderful trip.
Gotta have a spin inside a spinning observation deck... why not!! Well, I guess the upstairs wasn't spinning, but ya know... :P Yes, that one room in the Chihuly museum with the glass in the ceiling and the lights shining down on the walls... that was awesome!!
Jay when you said, "here comes the train" and made your elephant trumpeting noise, it was so funny you made me spit my morning coffee out. Oh lord that was good! 😂
I'm gonna crack up about that all day.

I was impressed by the Chihuly Gardens. I never thought I'd want to see something like this but I'd definitely go there.
I'd seen photos and thought, okay... it'll be a fun way to pass the time, but I don't know if I'll be super into it, ehhh... and then we got there. Much impressed, ha ha...
LOVE LOVE LOVE the Chihuly glass. His works are amazing. When I grow up and win the lottery I so want to invest in one of his pieces. Thank you for showing them.
That place was insanely cool... we had seen photos but didn't know exactly what the expect!! :D
My husband and I boarded the Bliss the same day you were at the Space Needle and took a picture of it from onboard! It was neat to see you take a picture of the ship from the reverse perspective of the Space Needle. We had a wonderful trip to Alaska and loved being on the Bliss even though it is huge. We got a great price on the cruise since it was so early in the season and we were a little worried that it would be too cold or we would miss seeing wildlife, but the weather was beautiful (except Juneau, which was cold and rainy) and we saw tons of wildlife including orcas, humpback whales, seals, and bald eagles! The Bliss even went through a pod of whales feeding on a massive school of fish, so we were surrounded by whales and saw them feeding for a long time; we must have seen dozens! I am so excited to see your adventures, too!
Oh nice! Yes, on the episode we released today, we did a harbor tour and caught the Bliss during sailaway. Glad to hear you had an awesome cruise!! :D
We just returned last Sat from the Magic. After our trip, I have to say I have a whole new respect for you and your fellow vloggers! You make this look so simple! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us!

Nice videos guys. Brings back memories of our post Alaskan adventure way back in 2008. Seattle has changed a bit since then. Space needle has undergone renovation changes also. Need to revisit for sure. Looking forward to more of your vlogs! 👍👍👍

Yes, and the benches were angled backwards so that when you sat, you were leaning back against the glass wall... yow!! :D

We had a blast! The CityPass was definitely a great way to fill a couple of days... we didn't get to try the Great Wheel or Wings Over Washington, which we'd like to if we get back to Seattle in the near future!! :D

That stuff was insanely cool! And it's funny, some of the chandeliers and things about the Legend were giving us that Chihuly vibe as well, we noticed later.
The Chiluly museum is awesome! On my bucket list for sure. The Space Needle, not so much. Too much height!

It's funny, on the Legend (or is it LeGend... no... no, it's not...) we kept pointing out chandeliers and things that were similar in style. Super cool style!! :D
We were in Seattle just for the day on a cruise, docked at pier 66 on Royal a few weeks back. I couldn't believe how much it cost to go up the Space Needle. $150 for a family of four seemed steep , Oh well Seattle's Eiffel tower I guess.. We ended up going to MoPop instead, it was great.
Ah nice! We didn't see any Royal ships in our couple of days in Seattle. Yes, the cost of the Space Needle alone is what made us gravitate toward the CityPass where we could do multiple things... crazy!!
We are staying at the exact hotel the night b4 our cruise and the Hyatt after. Wish we had someone to share the pricy rooms with. Out Seattle adventure is after the cruise for almost 2 days. The glass museum looks absolutely beautiful so am definitely gonna go there. Can’t wait to see your Alaska vlogs.
Very nice! That location is awesome, and you can't beat free breakfast, ha ha... yes, it was so strange how a room for 2 and a room for 4 were almost the same price... yikes!!

We were super busy in Seattle, ha ha... We ended up flying Delta because we found a good non-stop flight, and were able to apply for their credit card, which knocked $200 off the cost. Plus, we earned some points which might help with future flights. Sort of a one-time trick, but we decided to go ahead and use that for this long flight!!

It was super freaky being that high up and sitting on the benches and all... even if you aren't freaked out by heights, there's just something about that experience that's so weird!! :D

Can’t wait to get on a spirit class ship like the legend. We r sailing on the pride this Sunday up there close to y’all in Baltimore. So Do ya have recommendation on a good place by inner harbor to eat a lobster roll.
Woohoo, our beloved Pride! We totally converted Favor over to Spirit-class ships as well, ha ha... she loved the Legend so much!! You know, I've actually never gone for lobster in Baltimore... I've never really even gone for crab or seafood at all, since we get it so frequently at home. Dang!! :P
Were your timed while up in the Space Needle?
No, you could stay up there as long as you liked, from what we saw, and the ticket actually got you two rides up to the top. We didn't get back over there for our evening ride like Rob & Favor did later on, but we still enjoyed it. Super cool!
