This is the sequel to my previous rise of INGSOC video ( • The Rise of INGSOC: Ev... . But this time it takes place in North America! This took me several months, so a like and maybe even a comment would be appreciated. :)

Note that the book does not give us a lot of information about what happened before 1984, so this video is just an interpretation of what could have happened. We know however, that a civil/revolution did take place, just not how it took place.

A bit weird how in your video about rise of ingsoc in britain, it is told that ingsoc lost 7.5 mil people and capitalists lost 5 mil, while here the ingsoc only lost 1.5 mil. A bit weird casualties

I really started to enjoy video lore from you about the world of 1984. Would there be anymore videos based on it like World War 3 and the rise of Eastasia for example in the near future?
@@devilishprime1987 There will be more, the next video is probably even going to be about WW3 in the 1984 universe.
Have you thought about doing a history of Animal Farm? That would be fun because it was created by George Orwell too (and the story takes place somewhere around 1945-1960)
@@mackomackowsky I read the book as well but I'm not sure how I would map it since it is just a farm and not a country for example
The Animal Farm by George Orwell is a good idea, no countries just animals and farmers (then elite animals).
But It'll be nice to try map according to the cartoon/book of the 1st, 2nd, and last fight.
You should make a video on the World War 3 in this timeline, I think it would be pretty interesting.
P.S - I originally wrote this comment a few hours ago but when I came to check on it some hours later, it had mysteriously vanished for some reason. It's probably the UA-cam servers that caused it since I'm on holiday.

Always found it funny how the book kept it so vague that at one point it's implied Oceania originated from the US.
Colchester getting nuked in Winston's youth rather implies that before the rise of INGSOC that Eurasia or possibly Oceanic America invaded Britain, leading to Oceania.

in the book it is not specified who was the leader of capitalist oceania, and as for the leader of the ingsoc party it is unknown, but most likely it is someone who created the image of big brother so as not to show his identity
