What really irritates me is the constant background music on all TV and films drives me to distraction. Along with all the dancing commercials,everyone dances to everything even panty pads all looking happy absolutely stupid. Bring back good old fashioned commercials like bisto family. At least they weren't trying to be too clever just selling products. And even better no dancing with pathetic happy faces that you really want to smack.
Our memories of this great telly is best left to UA-cam. The commissioning of programs today is so cluttered with things other than the creative process so if they tried to redo these they’d butcher them😊

This is really good. I wish they still made telly like this today. But I can just imagine what a mess they would make of a story like that nowadays.

What a wonderful series. Why on earth can they not make things as good these days. We now get more gloss and sheen, less substance.
