Moore was such a cultured man. None of this day can compare.
What a joy to watch a game with no interference from technology or rolling around sissies. An absolute pleasure.
Best sports theme tune ever.
RIP Trevor Francis. Along with Bob Latchford and Kenny Burns, what a forward lineup Birmingham had then!
I was at that game in the Main stand My dad had two season tickets. That Birmingham team was the best of my 63 years of life very enjoyable to watch. Bob Latchfords brother was the Blues Goalkeeper Dave Latchford (Their other brother was the first team Goalkeeper at West Bromwich Albion). Two British Transfer record players in that Blues team Bob Latchford to Everton then Trevor Francis to Nottingham Forest. Both broke my heart as a fan.
@@neilpountney9414 I watched the Latchford brothers (Dave and Peter) playing on a few occasions in the late 70’s at Motherwell v Celtic games. Possibly in opposition just once though.
Edit, they faced each other 3 times at start of 78/79 season.
@@stevenwilson1816 That is awesome I totally forgot all about that fact. Thanks :)
What about Bob Hatton
Bob Hatton unsung hero
more leeds games please , the greatest team of early seventies .
Late 60s too.
Just how good a talker is Big Mal. He was an exceptional coach.
Was at the Birmingham vs West Ham match standing in The Kop.
RIP Chris Garland in the last couple of weeks.
Odd, Brian Moore says Leeds have 5 first team players missing, but if you scan the team names, everyone of them are top names from recent years. Incredible team. Right Chelsea, grudge time, we don't forget..
“Bites Yer Legs”?
“Crapped His Pants” when Osgood turned round and had a go back😂😂
Osgood seemed to love the wind-up,lol.
Sinstadt at his scintillating worst.
“Now was that in? Looked to me as though Stepney pulled it back from over the line”…except Stepney dived the wrong way, never touched it and the ball was still nestled in the other corner 😂
If any match-up screams early 70s it was Chelsea v Leeds United.
Another give away (at any ground,English or Scottish games) the sky blue invalid cars!
My mate Gary Locke playing in this game..only 19 years old
I think George Bests goal against Coventry was the last he scored for Man Utd.
World class football played by players who drank, smoked and enjoyed to party. Just goes to prove todays medical science has got it all wrong.
Utter rubbish. Modern footballers would destroy those players with their fitness levels alone. Can you point me to the evidence that says smoking and drinking is good for you.
14:30.
i hate chelsea so much. i love seeing them destroyed.
Don't be a hater be a lover❤
