I have just discovered your You Tube channel....and it didn't disappoint. I feel like I've just had a mini break on my sofa!! So nice to find a really authentic vlog, and a couple who actually enjoy the food (and drinks) rather than just a super healthy and scenic insta vlog!!) Great to see a true tourist experience covering all ranges of price points, and chatting with the locals. Can't wait until I can travel to Italy again. Bravo.....definitely subscribing
Thank you Charlotte! I really appreciate your thoughtful comment for for you supporting and subscribing. We definitely love to share our true experience together as authentically as possible while showing a destination for what it's meant to be enjoyed as. We are big foodies and enjoy an adult beverage. Meeting, supporting and speaking with locals has also become very important to us since we revisit destinations more than once. We find that that it enriches out travels and gives us a deeper connection to places. I'm so happy you enjoyed! thank you
Thanks Kelly! Yes, it was much harder a few months ago but now it's much easier to travel to Italy and it's definitely worth it. Btw I am a huge fan of your videos/channel as well!
The very charming place for gelato at 21:00 minutes is "Posides Cafe", a few meters up the road from "Da Vincenzo" restaurant, on the left. They also have some great looking pastries.
I know these are old videos but I'm having so much fun watching your Italy vlogs! I am new to your channel and found you by your Amazon haul videos. I feel like I'm on vacation just watching your vlogs. :)

A beautiful Vlog by 2 beautiful people I too am a regular witness of Nicki &Carlo ‘s lovely videos and yes I melted when you approached Elizabeth at Blue Boats I am certain I met Elizabeth in a past life. Thankyou I can tell you will make beautiful babies. God Bless. You Both. David.
Dana! Thank you soooo much!!!!!! You are simply amazing!!!! We are taking the family to Positano and Capri based on your videos!!!! Hope to see you there! That would be such a treat!!!!!!! Grazie ,you are truly amazing!
Your travel videos are incredible, by far one of the best I have seen, and I have been searching! Very well done and so enjoyable to watch. We miss Italy so much and cannot wait to return. Thank you! Beautiful work.
Such an amazing video! You are both just adorable, but what I love most is how you really embraced the Italian culture. So many other vloggers know no Italian nor even try. Their idea of fitting in is drinking Aperol Spritzes. 😂 Loved the interest in that beautiful fabric house. Grazie!
Thank you so much for posting your video! We are taking a Positano/Rome trip in August and it is so great seeing how open everything is! Keep making these great videos!
Great information about beach chair prices etc. I always appreciate less posed/drone footage and more close up walking around/tips/specific prices in travel videos. More useful and frankly, inspiring. Makes it less overwhelming for people that have never been to the location before. So thank you!
Hi Dana! Just wanted to say how crazy it was to see you walking down the Piazza dei Mulini in Positano! My wife & I went for our 25th anniversary and over the last few months watched all of your Amalfi videos & really enjoyed your sensible and informative content. I think it was Sunday June 26th about halfway down & said 'Hi Dana- thanks for the videos'. We were just walking into a little bottle shop & deli when I saw you, and thought 'no way...' but looked again & saw your BF w/ you and know it was you for sure so wanted to say hello. I hope it didn't freak you out! It's scary world, but I really did want to thank you. We had an amazing time even walked up and visited Hotel Poseidon for a possible future stay based on your review. We stayed and Hotel Bucca di Bacco and really enjoyed it. No pool, but the view was incredible as was the room and service. Hope you guys had an amazing time also! Be well and again 'thanks for the videos!'
Next time you are on the AC you should check out Torre Normanna Restaurant over in Maiori. Of our 26 days in Italy it was the most spectacular view and best food as well.
Thank you! I am so glad that I could do that. It truly is my favorite place in the world and it brings me such joy sharing my experience in my favorite place.
I really loved this Dana. We spent 3 or 4 days in positano in 2018. Blew me away. We ate at a few of the same places and went in the same shops. Even went up to La Tagliata ( which was a real highlight) - anyway , loved this vlog. Loved how chilled the whole video was. So many tourists just rush rush and miss the whole vibe of the place.
I totally agree with you! every time we go back we stay longer and longer there's no way you can have the full experience in a day trip or even a few days. It's taken us a few times to go back and stay longer to really get the vibe.
great video. very informative, what cameras do you both use as they are very clear. Keep up the good work and may you keep on traveling. I live in Queensland Australia and have been given along with my wife 14 day rail tour in Italy October 2022, so excited as no-one has ever done anything like that before
Fantastic video, brought back so many memories of when myself and my Wife tied the Knot there what a spectacular location miss it so much but going back on the 14th October :) thanks for sharing
We are in Lockdown in Sydney. So refreshing to see your video. Learning italian and hoping to one day be able to live there, speak italian and enjoy the culture, food, spritz (of course) lemon cello and explore this wonderful country. Grazie for this wonderful video, giving us something to look forward to once we are all out of “”lockdown” forever.🥰
I loved watching this vlog of my place, as seen from a tourist eye... absolutely lovely! Thanks for coming here, and hope to have you guys back in our Costiera soon ♥ take care!!
Tagliata was one of the best meals of my life. Unreal. My only regret was not realizing that we weren't paying "per bottle" of wine, so when they kept bringing out new bottles my inner poor kid was like, "oh no, guess we have to finish this one too!" (facepalm.) I remember up until the cannelloni...and it was perfection. Haha.
Love this video! Our trip to Positano/Rome was canceled this May, rebooked for next May 2022. We are staying at a vrbo near Le Sirenuse for a week and will be doing some day trips from there. We then go to Rome for three days. Can’t wait to see your next video :)
It's easy on the eyes ,a gem to look at , for visitors but if elderly it looks to be hard to live and find ways to navigate the hills and terrains ,is there a food Mart or if all people must drive too. How is it possible ,can a next video explain some questions on this subject ,it is just a georgous view thou I wonder how it sustained to work, shop, travel, ect ,not being negative ,but inquisitive about information.great video ,to a long happy and healthy life. I'm assuming it is very reliant on visitors to function .great video .the beach is priceless. Greeks and Italians are so much alike.🙂 This a one of a kind .
Really enjoyed your VLOG. I have been going to Positano every summer since 2015 and missing it last year (2020) broke my heart. What is most spectacular about Positano is the people who many feel like family to me now. Looking forward to returning to my second home next week! Ciao, bella!
Hi Inez, thats so amazing we have been going every year since 2018 minus 2020 also. Nice to e-meet others online who do the same thing. Love that! Have an amazing trip! Enjoy every minute of it.

Great job Dana. Ciao from Philadelphia. You guys did a great job and everything you ate and drank I would have selected for myself. Please make more videos!
This is a great video. I am going with my wife and kids this summer and can't wait. How much was the dress? I know my wife will want to shop in these amazing shops and want to be prepared!
I absolutely love your content, thank you for always sharing the best travel tips. I have a quick question, would you say Positano is kid friendly? My girls are excellent travelers, I can’t see myself being across the world (from Texas) without them. Did you see other families there?
Thank you very informative. We are going there this July by land coming from Rome and sea (cruise) and I wasn't planning on bringing water shoes, luckily you showed it. I was wondering how's the hike wearing sandals? And what time do you usually have dinner coz we sleep early as well.
Love the Amalfi coast , spent a decade On and off there ...Cinque Terre , Greece and much of southern EU! Love the vlog and seeing it again. Molto bene! Dolce far niente...
What do you think about staying in sorrento ? And visiting positano and other towns along ? We are looking at 8 days 2 travel days trip with a few older travelers with us. Thx
I love this 🥺I’ve only been in Italy once and it was six years ago and it made me feel like I was born on the wrong side of the world. This was simply sublime! Also, I actually think people from the US have dinner rather early because in Mexico we also have dinner after 8 😌anyway, loved this!
I just came across your video and am loving it. I hope you got some pics in your new dress on the beach because your dress matched the chairs and umbrellas 💙💙💙
Thank you so much for this great trip! I am going to Positano for the first time in 2 month and learned a lot from your blog! I love the white dress at the beginning of the video, do you mind sharing where you got it from? Thank you again for your awesome work💕💕
Thank you so much! I am so excited for you! I have linked a similar dress here for you: www.shopltk.com/explore/danaberez/posts/05181bb3-e8db-11ec-8f0f-0242ac110004
Ughh I had initially book a trip to Positano for 2 days, and here you come and vlog this dream place!! I just messaged my Travel agent to add two more days!! 1 in Amalfi and 1 in rafaello!! Thanks to you lady! 😂😂. Can you provide me the link to the boat tour with Elizabeth, I’m super interested in booking one!!
Hi Dana, Great video! I'm going to be going to Positano soon as well and just had a question regarding drone flying in Italy? Did you have to get permits in order to fly in these places? Is there a local map guide that shows the no-fly zones? or is it just stock footage, haha? Thanks in advance!
just curious. If you rent a chair - and then decide to go someplace (something to eat, or walk around), do you lose your chair? Or is it reserved until you "check out" at the counter? Second question: If you are on the beach (the main beach), how long does it take to walk up the hill - to get to the road where the SITA bus is located (we want to take the bus from Positano to Amalfi) Thanks. Great Video.
Great series of vlogs! I’m headed to Italy tomorrow (solo). Your videos have been extremely VALUABLE. Hopefully you don’t mind questions from another New Yorker in case I get lost in translation 😂
Thank you for this vlog! A friend and I are traveling to Positano in June, and we cannot wait! Are you aware of travel requirements to go back to the US, will we need a covid test before leaving Italy? If so, are you aware of any locations in Positano to get one? Any info is greatly appreciated, thank you!
Absolutely loving your channel and blog! I'm going for my honeymoon in a couple months and we booked a photographer for a 30 minute photo session. Our goal is to take some photos at the Positano le sirenuse lobby balcony for some memorable pictures. Were the staff strict about letting you take photos there? Any advice?
Hi Leah, thank you so much! Congrats! I am glad I could be of help. They weren't strict but it was kind of awkward and I was very quick because I wasn't a guest. That is a great question to ask your photographer who would have a better idea and perhaps has a local connection to the workers on the property. Have an amazing trip!!
Hi Dana, thank you so much. If there’s any spots in Positano that you’d suggest for photos with a similar view (not in a hotel) please let me know! It’s very stressful planning outside the country and never having been there. Thanks again!
Hi! I love the coverup you're wearing in the beginning of your video (4:05)! I've looked all over your LTK and I can't find it... is there anyway you could send me a link? I'm actually going to Positano for the first time in 2 weeks and I've loved watching your vlog... I'm so excited!
Ahh! I got that coverup hidden on a clearance rack at TJMAXX! Its a completely sheer dress (thinking the lining was missing) You are going to lovee Positano! Hope you can find a similair coverup :) Actually, Cupshe has sheer white coverups actually bit.ly/2WwcPt4
Thank you for the amazing videos! We are visiting in July. Have you been to Puliga? We will be traveling there too. First time to Italy! Ps..I will be ordering those great leather sandals!!
Dana, sorry if this question was already asked. I noticed you have drone footage on this Positano video. Do they allow drones and how much of a hassle is it to travel around positano with your drone? Obviously you need to launch it from a non busy area. Did you find it hard to do? I’m thinking of bringing my drone to Positano but don’t want it to be a hassle. Thoughts?
Thanks for the very informative info. A lot of good stuff here and you sold us on the B&B Venus Inn. I’ll let ya know how it goes. Also, I was wondering on that shuttle you took from Rome. How often do those run? Looks like I saw 9:30 and 1:30 which probs won’t work for us since we arrive at 9:30 am we’d miss first one and I don’t want to wait 4 hours for next one. Probably will end up doing trains and ferry. Keep up the good work, we appreciate it!
Hi there, yes B&B Venus Inn is a bed and breakfast we have been going to for 4 years now every summer in Positano. It is a simple and affordable option to the expensive hotels and boutique hotels in Positano it allows us to visit annually and for a longer period of time. Please let Gippy know that Dana and Alsenio he is absolutely a wonderful host. If you can't make the shuttle times I would definitely take trains and ferries etc.
Excellent...many great tips & this place is a must to visit indeed!
Definitely!

Thank you so much! I am so excited for you! I have linked a similar dress here for you: www.shopltk.com/explore/danaberez/posts/05181bb3-e8db-11ec-8f0f-0242ac110004
@@DanaBerez thank you so much Dana! I can not wait to go! I really appreciate all your tips for the transportation, restaurants and shops!
It's Ravello, not Rafaello. Hope you don't mind the correction.
Ah so exciting! Send them over & be sure to check out my other videos as they are uploaded
Thank you Dana for your lovely videos😍
Thoughts?
so informative, thankyou! I can't wait to travel here x
Thank you so much!
I’m off to Italy last week of July… worried how busy it will be but I also teach so I will just have to deal with it! Lol
Great video! I love Italy there are so many nice places, Thanks for sharing ;-)
This vlog has a special feeling like I'm in Positano myself love it!
@@DanaBerez I will carry your message to Mr. Gippy. We are looking forward to meeting him, sounds like quite the host from what I’ve read. Cheers!
Wow so beautiful definitely want to visit
Its a dream, my favorite place!
Positano is Beautiful!
Yes it really is my favorite place on earth
