Hello. This is Sparkykawa editor🐗 10:30 The video says "Sparky thinks fulgor is the weakest named item," but it should have been "one of the weakest." Sorry for the confusion....
I just wish they added more weapons that had magical effects, it would be cool if there was a lesser enchantment of fulgor/viola that could be slotted on blue/purple weapons (at a reduced level than their unique counterparts)
They are going to be adding gem socketing either mid next wipe or the wipe after which I believe will give more stats to weapons and I think some higher level gems can give enchants but I already know if they added a blue viola thats all everyone would use and the meta would just be rouge ranger bard with blue violas
I got all my classes to wanderer last wipe so I started this wipe with around 70k worth of gold coin bags, which is the only reason I was able to buy a chest and Fulgor this wipe. Over a thousand hours played and never seen a named item or chest in hundreds upon hundreds of pulls. Even just raising them to a 1% chance from a boss would go a huge way, even if it means they have to be nerfed.
I have 1700h plus more on playtests... I only found 1 named item, at it was instantly put on the market by my trio. I would really like to try one some day...
Unique named items are cool. But I think the rarity makes them way more awesome when you find one or even die to someone using one. It's like getting an infinity stone. Finding excalibur. Wearing the one ring. It's just cool imo. If every sweat in the game has one, it wouldn't even feel that special to see one. But then again I'm just a 3-hour a week casual lol.
I'm pretty sweaty and I've literally never found one. I can't imagine the average timmy is gonna ever even see one unless they're getting killed by it.
i've played since playtest 1 and i have never gotten 1. stinky stick doesn't count cos its so shit, i got that from reward tokens. i think its stupid how 99.9% of players will never get one. limiting them to people who are bossing.. i wish it was a quest, maybe even extra long quest but it would be obtainable by all and you could have visible progress for it.
after damage nerf I was still doing 120-140 plus like 20 something magic damage with Kuma's fang and a cyclops vison crystal on slayer, but I guess it somewhat balance's out with the pdr trade
Elite modifier enemies should have a chance to drop magic or +1 versions of normal weapons maybe add crafting and salvaging high quality items into uniques.
They should just replace +1 Flat or True dmg with +1 elemental (Fire, Ice, Lightning) damage. Would be could to get generic magic weapons, and it would balance out PDR a lot more
Exactly what I'm saying, it's really cool with unique weapons...but I only see them at the end of the season, that is, 3 months, only 7 days that I see them in the lobbies. That's why I like playing Apex, if you can catch a Kraber (which would be unique) and feel powerful. No lol, you make strong items for the character and can give pentakill... And so on, I think it's really bad that the nominees aren't played but are only sold for dollars and aren't even seen during the beginning of the season.
They put so much effort into named items just for them to be completely impractical for the cost it would be so cool being able to spend like 3k or so to buy a named weapon to upgrade your kit with so i completely agree
They should add legendary craftables of non-named items ,eg castillion dagger, and give them weaker special effects, could even make them drop off normal bosses
Can confirm sitting on chest two sk and like 30 bags let alone all my shit, could easily get myself a named and I play solo norms for the last two years so.. I think its good where its at, the game for only being around two years has given me more to strive for than most any other game so far, going from just streamlining pve to learning market/money management, bossing, and pvp. now I'm at a point I get it all for the most part but still have plenty room to grow.
I want named items to be about on par with comparable gear for pvp, but better in pve, and more common. Just make it so you can clear rooms better with named gear, so like monster specific damage or protections. Make most enemies weak to elemental or something. No ones wasting spell slots on enemies mostly, so it would just be these named items
@ilovewizard @vonflare4709 Hi. I'm the editor🐗 I wrote that. Not Sparky. Sorry for the confusion. We will double-check the writing on the video in the future. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Next season named items will be very common, or at least far more common than it used to be. Random uniques don't roll anymore and the only time a unique will drop will be a named, that alone will dramatically increase the amount of named we see, and since Uniques will be on the same power level as Legendary (aside from their special passive), I thin kyou got exactly what you're asking for here, Sparky :)
I agree with that. They’re too rare but I think they could keep the current ones the same and just add new named weapons that are less rare and weaker like you said.
"More common" does not necessarily mean common, which i think some people fail to understand. They can still be rare and hype while being nerfed and made a bit more common. If you kill a boss in HR, you should have a decent chance to see a unique imo. Maybe around a 1 in 10 chance..? 1 in 20?
hot take you are ok with RMT yo arent ok with people cheating to do it. Cause you take gifts from chat its not different than RMT except chat kits do not promote cheating. There is nothing objectively wrong with RMT if the sellers aren't cheating to get those items.
@@Sparkykawa I didn't say it was RMT it's no different though. It's getting gear you didn't earn from an outside source. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying you don't really dislike RMT. You just dislike cheaters and incentivizing cheaters.

Honestly I agree with making named items a little less strong and a bit more common, I've been playing for a year now and have never gotten a named item. I also suck so that doesn't help lmao
uniques and rare tier/high quality gear should be more common, this game isnt some MMO or a game that doesnt have wipes... it has wipes... people gotta accept the fact they lose everything so technically everything has no value, its all for fun... the game would be much more fun for the casuals if they didn't have to worry about the skill gap/grinding gold/gear. I personally just enjoy the game with base kit or low tier gear lobbies since i can run around and pvp however i want even when i have a stash of 50k-100k+ at times... thing is it takes me hundreds of hours for the entire wipe to grind that as a above average player, ill never touch most of the uniques in my first 1k hours probably lmao
sadly the popularity of this game is gonna invite alot more cheaters and RMT. Hopefully Ironmace has good principles and doesn't actively partner with the cheaters like BattleState/Tarkov devs did. They would literally always put the game on sale after banwaves and just allowed cheaters to run rampant. The game was niche so it wasn't getting new players fast enough so they found a different more scummy way to make money. Ironmace has a difficult battle with cheaters ahead and they've killed similar games.

They are blatantly overpowered, but no. Having a named is kind of the dream, and the dream should not be diluted by meager concepts like fairness.

Fulgor is not the weakest unique. It’s just straight added magic damage. And plus you got uniques like aegis and delirium and the spellbook
The spell book(spellwiever) is one of the best uniques?!?! Not sure what ur on about. There’s a reason it’s one of the most expensive
