"I want to leave behind a body of work that is most often described as wonderful, that produces the following reactions..." u know? All their songs send a message that is objectively true, that is so easy to neglect. DM's version is about adolescents. Andy is saying he still feels this way, maybe all the time.

Not everytime David Gahan sang it well...many times with erased vocal or with dysphonia!! And a lot of times better too. It depends. Andy could have sang a lot of Yazoo/The Assembly songs and Depeche Mode early stuff too.

Lo siento, pero los arreglos suenan a Casiotone de comunión. No me molan. Con lo bien que suena la caja de ritmos original y los sintes originales, que manera de cagarla. Si la versión que vas a hacer, no es tan buena o mejor que la original, estate quieto.

Vince Clark wrote this song melody and lyrics ,, It was really the breakthrough song for Depech mode and Vince left and got with Allison Moyet wich was great and then Andy Bell is what who it took to really complete ust who Vince Clark needed the two talents came together to really become the king of Synth Pop bands to me no one compares to Vince Clark and Andy Bell ,,, they have no competitors simply Love everything they have done ever since the very beginning until now ,,,Erasure is the Greatest....I will say it if no one else in the world will ,, Vince and Andy are very modest Im not when its something I know and needs to be said ,,,so there I said it ,,,Erasure rules!!! Andy pullled this song, big time. The synths sound like a karaoke machine, and it's Vince! He is the reason Depeche Mode exists. He should have put more time into it. I know what he can do, and this is not his best. Andy kicked ass here. Though he is no Dave Gahan, he stood up to the challenge and delivered very well. Kudos.

Just can`t get enough and Get the balance right have always been my favourites by DM. Hearing this song from Andy is unusual to me as I don`t like covers whatsoever - even if it is Vince`s song. Maybe a studioversion by Erasure would have sounded better - who knows.

this version isn't my cup of tea!, much prefer the original clarke version with depeche. plus it's live too..would love to see vince get back with depeche-even if only for one album and tour!! but sadly it'll never happen..

This was awesome live in crowd. recording doesn't give the background of fans or giant balloons released...had to be there...honouring vince was ace with AB voice. loved it
@HumanSoftware this was performed at a special one off concert for members of the fan club... therefore i don't think as much polish was applied to the track programming as would have been for a full tour performance.
it's from the evening with erasure cd that was offered to the fanclub in 1998. i don't remember when the performance was, but i think it was a year or so prior to the cd release.
