이게 벌써 5년 지난 영상이구나.. 내 최애곡을 피아노와 들었던 첫 공연이였지.. 아직도 기억함 그 공간하고 분위기.. 좌석공연이였는데 맨뒤에서 본 조물조물 움직이며 연주하고 노래하던 멤버들.. 타임머신이 있다면 공연했던 모든 순간들 한번씩 다 다시 돌아가 보고 싶다 왜 좋은 시간들엔 항상 끝이 있을까
개인적으로 장마전선, 도룡뇽, 서울 , 남극 같이 약하게 부르는 곡들이 더좋음

my biggest wish to learn korean was because i wanted to understand Thornapple lyrics so bad. i've been listening to them for so long, their music helped me go through so much hardships and left a very big imprint on my character. i don't think i will ever get tired of Thornapple's music. with every listen, even if it's the 1000th one, it just gets more beautiful and beautiful.
Hows it going? Tbh thornapples lyrics are really poetic letters that even usual korean people needs interpretation sometimes
@@screwthis3151 it's going rather alright!! thank you for asking, i've actually completely forgot i wrote a comment like this haha. done some translations of thornapple at this point and although i already knew that their lyrics are incredibly poetic before, i realized just *how* much.
it was especially hard to convey everything into english and honestly i don't really think it's possible to get the image thornapple creates with their words across 100% without sacrificing the nuance... i feel like that's in general the korean > english translation issue but the peculiarity of thornapple's lyrics definitely adds to that. what's more interesting is that actually english isn't my first language and i've found that translating korean into lithuanian (my actual first language) it doesn't experience as much of the nuance loss. while obviously it could be because it's my first language but lithuanian is quite known to be a complex, even a bit archaic, language so i think i can compensate the korean language's nuance through the complexities of lithuanian's grammar and such better than through english.
actually, some parts of thornapple's lyrics still remain a mystery to me interpretation-wise to this day. i understand the words but strangely i just can't grasp what they were trying to say haha. had me doing lots of reading about mythology and similar stuff haha
@@mm1ka I see how you are going through for your goal have my respect. I agree the words can't come to you 100% raw when you translate thats is why learning foreign language is something else. Also, yes this musics of Thronapple, the lyrics are something that is difficult to figure out for long time even I am listening to music for few years still finding out whats he trying to describe or say his feelings
