Hello! My husband looks at your videos with great enthusiasm. and I admit to fancy fanatics. Unfortunately, I love her so much, but I can not even buy another used festool brand picike clamp. It honors your work, joy, and skill. I was thinking of staring at Christmas with a nice thing: I'd like to ask you for an autógram with a festoolous greetings: my husband's name is Gábor. please tell me that he would do that favor, because if not because of the proximity of Christmas I would think otherwise. Welcome to your wife's fan
It depends on the thickness of your edgeband and the look you want. They have a bit that trims the edge flush and square, and one for each common thickness of edgeband 1mm,1.5mm and 2mm plus a 45 degree chamfer. If you use several different thickness of edgebanding you will need a bit for each thickness, if you want that nice round over like you see on the blacktop around the 7:20 mark in the video. It's not a one bit fits all scenario. Unfortunately, since like all things Festool the bits are not cheap.
Then consider spending the time to do it manually, or pay someone who has a similar machine to do the work. I just finished having a used Holz Her Edgebander in my shop. They are extremely finicky machines. I'm sure this one has it's issues.
These videos would be so much more helpful with somebody talking instead of that awful music. I can both read the captions and look at what your describing on the video in any meaningful way.
