A medieval faction WITH magic AND V.i.o.d. as a story-teller sounds promising! Knights with holy magic...and very HOLY granades. Perhaps...a few holy guns aswell?

@@marltonmanks9891 Exactly that, i'd even go as far to find a zombie mod (might be difficult to get a "medieval zombie mod " though). Ships would be an awsome addition aswell, if the specific mod is still up to date.
@@carmagadon11 zombieland works with medieval playthrough, its just really dangerous for your pawns. alternatively could run with a few mods that add new xenogerm things and try to make zombies or use somethiing like hellsing arms ultimate or wa skeletons. would have to do some faction editing though, making a faction of undead

You should check more monsters from Void there are alot of "bosses" and you should raid with this trooper the void base
the mad lad actually did it. well done, i wasnt aware of how powerful the star wars stuff was. VOID is beatable when using stuff of equivalent or greater power than themselves. damn shame you didnt face off against any black titans or black leapers. those things are insane, dishing out like 500 damage per hit. only other high power factions i can think of to against next would be maybe advanced mechanoid warfare, recon mechanoid, glitter tech, ghost army, starship trooper arachnids through sheer numbers or 40k stuff. and even then im not sure they would last against this onslaught
well ofcourse you can defeat void with 50 soldiers, shooting while walking. and no CE.

They have a unique raid type, assassins, that spawn right next to your bedroom. That how be so funny to watch!
They are based on easter culture, so a new faction appearing out of nowhere wouldn't be too sudden.

so from what i have seen of void there can be a raid from 100-1000 people lol. it was a series where the story tell had a chance to changed every event. the guy got void and it crashed his pc. he later found out there was 1000+ void people
The next step should be for YOU to become V.O.I.D and raid the Empire

the void is much scarier in actual playthroughs where you use the storyteller and everything. obviously if you use cheats to spawn in an OP army the VOID raids arent gonna be very scary.
Never in my life would I have thought I'd see VOID in rimworld with all the dead frontier weapons and zombies

I think that the blasters have their own damage type instead of sharp or blunt, I don't know, but if they do the void soldiers would have no resistance for it since they are from another mod. This could make them an easy target in small numbers, again assuming that it does have a different damage type but again I don't know.
I believe it may be burn damage if I’m not mistaken. I would think they should have resistance to burn as well though
@@Rat_Knightbut the lasers are bypassing their shields I noticed, I didn't hear the shield breaking sound once and those shields are more powerful than any personal shield pack, you might also be using a mod that patches out the VOID factions shields special ability that they can shoot through it.
@@Rat_Knight Voidlings (and most of the monsters) should be outright immune to burn damage (200% burn armour), they also have (as another commenter pointed out) extremely powerful shield belts that should not restrict them from firing.
It is clear that something is not going right with your mods, and that's hobbling void unreasonably, although I don't know if that's your Star Wars mod or CE or some combination of the two (or perhaps some other mod).
I do know that the CE armour changes are not friendly to the survivability of voidlings.

Fyi these tenctacle ladies are supposed to be the "wraith" from Dead Frontier. Think they were modded into Rimworld when DF still had a mediocre fanbase.

To be honest... The range of weapons is way shorter than it actually should be.
You should be able to fire across the normal map with most of the weapons, although, with a way worse accuracy.
