Mike Bloomfield left us too soon. 1981 at the age of 37. Heard the news after a local gig with my HS band. Sad news. Mike Bloomfield belongs to the top 5 blues-rock guitarists of all time. MB is an American guitar hero.
So would i. But methinks this video was his last few years. was fading away. That said, he was by far the most under-rated guitarist ever, despite the formidable stature he enjoyed in his prime. Am sorry, but Clapton, Beck and Page were no match for him.
i always play this rendition before turning off my laptop... every night..... nothing more awesome.... I'm a great fan of Mike Bloomfield..... what a brilliant talent
Cuthbert J. Twillie Mr.Cuthbert- by collecting this you have in sense become an archivist of sorts of what little of this man live filmed work there is available..... for Gods sake if your sitting on any else post it brother.... FOR MICHAEL 🎸
I would pay you for that footage! Though I highly doubt that Mike would want that ... haha all jokes aside, if you could someday find it in your heart to share that footage with the world, I for one would be so great full you couldn’t understand...
Cuthbert J. Twillie In good faith, I will give you my best Bloomfield footage source (which knowing what you have, you’ve probably already seen)... I discovered a Muddy Waters show on which mike plays for half the duration.. It’s called soundstage and Is pretty much only available for purchase unfortunately (I’ve scowered the internet and paying for it, I’m pretty sure, is the only option)

I think I’d sell my soul to watch any live Bloomfield performance in person...man was I born in the wrong decade!
I was 30 years too late too..

What's sad, are the heart felt comments from baffoons who just thrive in pointing out the obvious. Genius..oh yes. Human.. no doubt!
