This happened to a former coworker of mine. He was from India and when he came to the US he was taught "bulls*%t" was a normal word. He didn't know it was a swear. He got into a lot of trouble for saying it at work. Kept telling the boss that it wasn't a swear and threatened to go to HR. LOL!

Yeah, i think players today get away with a lot, thats why even if i dont like Nadal style of playing, i respect him, never curses and never throws his racket. Even a player such as McEnroe was very aware and conscious of when and where he does his outbursts and how, he basically uses the rulebook fully, its not only about the physical game but the mental game too, and what i mean can be seen in Gulbis outburst, any argument and action for example in delay in game can throw a opponent off and/or win the crowd over, thats how smartly Mcenroe used the rule book. Tennis is the only sport where you can throw a tantrum and say "I'm not going to play anymore" and your opponent can't do anything about it. That's insane. This happens because they let it happen. Slap some penalties down for these "breaks from play" incidents and they'll stop happening.

How much of a delay is there between when a player hears an out call and when we hear the call picked up on the mic? Because every single player has made the argument that the call came before/while they were hitting and that the call hindered them. And every time I see it on TV the call is clearly after they hit.
On ATP level courts there are mics around the court, there is no delay. With the logic of any delay being present, every racket hitting a ball would be delayed, which they are not.
I feel bad for the umpires. Have to stay polite and cant say for example that Karen needs to stop with being a cry baby and talking bullsh*t because are we really having a discussion if sh*t is a swear word and are we really gonna call the supervisor for that😒 Disrupting play is so annoying but yeah I get it when you are playing bad and you need to release your frustration (unfortunately often at the umpire)
