      Yeah i totally agree, its quite simple to shut down karens argument, its like: - Just like that word is inappropriate on the dinner table the same way its not suited on the court, and if you want to go to the toilette you can say it to yourself while your sitting on the toilette, if you want to say something about the way you play the ball you can use the word "bad". • @rishuyadav1662

      Yeah, i think players today get away with a lot, thats why even if i dont like Nadal style of playing, i respect him, never curses and never throws his racket. Even a player such as McEnroe was very aware and conscious of when and where he does his outbursts and how, he basically uses the rulebook fully, its not only about the physical game but the mental game too, and what i mean can be seen in Gulbis outburst, any argument and action for example in delay in game can throw a opponent off and/or win the crowd over, thats how smartly Mcenroe used the rule book. I like how strong some umpires are and they should get more credit for standing up like that, and i also think that if a player throws his/her racket, and then continues to break his/her racket should be accountable for number of obscenities and abuses. I mean if he is continuing to use the word in his explanations its still going on tv and into the player and crowds ear, so it becomes a hypocrisy in a way to continue. But thats just me, i think if that is applied then tennis will gain more as a sport, in the 50s we never heard players conduct their language like that. Thats just my view.

    Literally all these drama videos just how that 90 % of professional tennis players are just spoiled children millionaires on court when they don't get their way. It is a disgrace to their parents and to the sport. Acting like a man-child in front of a huge audience, because you don't get your way and cannot accept responsibility for your actions and admit when you are wrong. Terrible.

      He should’ve just said it in Russian and could’ve gotten away it with .. which is in a way unfair. Eg Fucsovics can probably say anything he likes and no one will be bothered haha. Especially without line judges now (they were used as snitches before).

    How much of a delay is there between when a player hears an out call and when we hear the call picked up on the mic? Because every single player has made the argument that the call came before/while they were hitting and that the call hindered them. And every time I see it on TV the call is clearly after they hit.

    • @plastjoel
      @plastjoel 3 роки тому +1

      On ATP level courts there are mics around the court, there is no delay. With the logic of any delay being present, every racket hitting a ball would be delayed, which they are not.

    I feel bad for the umpires. Have to stay polite and cant say for example that Karen needs to stop with being a cry baby and talking bullsh*t because are we really having a discussion if sh*t is a swear word and are we really gonna call the supervisor for that😒 Disrupting play is so annoying but yeah I get it when you are playing bad and you need to release your frustration (unfortunately often at the umpire)
