The Princess of Wales launches Christmas Baby Banks initiative

- Our experiences, relationships and surroundings during early childhood lay foundations that shape the rest of our lives, and future society. Supporting parents and carers, who are doing their best to provide for their families in challenging circumstances is essential and can have a life-changing impact.
Baby Banks are warm, caring places for families to access equipment, products, clothes and toys to help relieve some of the stresses creating significant pressures on people caring for babies and young children.

Those children are so well behaved and polite, a credit to their parents. They get stuck in and Catherine explains what it's for and why it's important. It looks like they brought donations from home too. How worthwhile.
There will undoubtedly be a monetary donation too but this is never spoken about

The children are being raised to become decent caring adults. Well done to the Prince and Princess of Wales who are great role models as parents.

I'm a Brazilian living in the USA , I have no connections to the UK , But I think the British Monarchy is such a gift, specially this family! Lovely to see the children being guided correctly. George. Will be King long after I am gone but what they learn now will make him a great King. Charlotte was really getting stuck in. She’s a lovely girl and Louis was very interested. I think they all three of the kids are lovely children and with the parents have got whether they were royals or not they’ll do just fine❤
This is what the late Princess of Wales used to do: bring the children with her, let them experience and make them understand. I'm so touched to see the Wales children there with Princess Catherine continuing this line of service and duty.

This is a great way for them to learn that they are special and privilaged and that there are kids who aren't that lucky . They brought the kids without fuzz in private and secret (as we are finding out about this a month later) . The kids get to be in a small but safe environment while they learn 😍😍😍😍😍

The RF do have great privilege and for that they are held to critique for every single tiny detail of their lives. Their children are bullied online by fools. The RF do contribute back to the UK Treasury to the tune of 2.2 billion pounds according to Forbes, all for the sun of 85 million pounds from the Sovereign Grant. Any charity they support brings a lot of donations in to help that charity. Look at Homewards, Look at Centrepoint, look at the Prince of Wales Trust, look at the charities regarding Childrens development. They do a lot for the UK. How much do you contribute to your community?

What a wonderful mother teaching her children the value of giving back to others and recognizing those in need. There is not a greater gift than compassion for others, and while I am sure Catherine and William teach many private lessons on selflessness at home, it is good to see George, Charlotte and Louis in action. No doubt these children will live lives of service and respect for all.
Then they go home to their free food, clothes, holidays, living in opulance never worrying about where the next meal is coming from, what angels they really are, I hope that jumper is the right colour Kate is holding

Considering how much horror they produced for black and brown countries they stole its easy not to love them. I believe Charles just left Kenya last month after giving a weak apology for what they did. Giving a speech and having a fancy dinner does not right ones wrongs. Perhaps they will travel to those countries and actually reverse the damage they did.

I agree with you, Catherine & William do a lot for charities, especially behind the scenes that people are unaware of, they always have, and now they are introducing their children to do the same. It's nice to see them doing things like this with their royal connections unlike the family in the USA that just like to take from their charities for their appearances and clothing etc! I know which family I would get behind, our future King and Queen.

These children are having the best childhood and the best upbringing of any previous royal children in history. George is going to be a wonderful King because of it and Charlotte and Louis will stand by him and play their own special parts.
It is *so* lovely to see Princess Catherine bringing her children to work and showing them what volunteering and charity is all about. She explains each step to them, they listen beautifully to the other volunteers, and even little Prince Louis wants to come back to help. *That* is raising the next generation in a positive way.
👩🏻💻It is so good to see Catherine, the Princess of Wales taking her children and teaching them to serve. I got my kids to plan and prepare a meal to give to one a family having a new baby. When they learn to serve when they are young the children grow to be empathic and compassionate and to look around outside themselves. It is so good to see such an excellent example of guiding her children and being a leader for the world.

We did our best to do things like this. This year, my eldest and his work colleague, who came after him, were facing one of them being made redundant. My son knew what he had to do. His work colleague's wife was pregnant. He volunteered for redundancy. Makes me tear up with gratitude.

Thank you for sharing this lovely video. It is so important for children to learn about volunteer work. I recall going to sing at local nursing homes and filling care packages for soldiers as a child. I'm in my 60s now, and still volunteering.

What a simple message - to get out there and help, in any way! It is good to see the future royals learning how to help. In the US, we have a few organizations, one is Toy for Tots. Police Dept's , Fire Dept's all get involved, as do individuals to help out. There are many other organizations too: for single parents, for runaway teens, for the animals, and those in hospitals - so many ways to get involved - :)
