- Germany has reportedly abandoned plans for military conscription in favour of optional military service. In a meeting with leaders of the ruling SPD, Defence Minister Boris Pistorius unveiled a significantly watered-down version of the plan. The report also said the new model will be “largely voluntary” and look to lure in recruits with special perks. Germany is on a mission to drastically expand its army, with ambitions to become Europe’s biggest military spender. Watch the video to find out more.

Germany’s,manufacturing and industrial base has dramatically declined;Thanks to the loss of inexpensive Russian energy supplies. Germany is now in a recession and the U.S. swooped in to entice German manufacturers to move to America and enjoy cheap energy supplies and tax breaks.
The last thing you want is more military spending as it does not produce products for consumers but increases wages and taxes which increases inflation.
Germany needs to get back to peace and prosperity with Russia before the American strategy of breaking Russia makes European life more miserable.
