In the end it’s just a sport that developed from the ground up just like basket ball baseball football etc. hand ball is a sport that has all of the capacities to grow and become a top sport just like any other sport . I’m sure they play basketball and even football in jail too. It’s not a prison sport . They make it seem like it’s a low life sport. It’s just a sport like any other sport . Only problem is that it hasn’t been given a fair chance to become a top sport. But it deserves the chance .

We played this game in high school but different and in groups of like 4 or 7. And we caught and threw the ball, and whoever dropped it the ball had to run and touch the wall because everyone was chasing and punching him and he wasn't cleared until he touched the wall.. any one else play this game?

Handball was brought to the US via Irish immigration, it is still played there in four wall courts (less so in stone alleys). That said, a lot of cultures have their own variation of the game.

There is no such thing as “prison handball” it’s just handball. I’ve been playing handball pretty much since I started walking and I have never been in prison. I’m not trying to be negative, I actually support your channel and i admire your positivity on all your videos but I feel like you are giving the sport a bad reputation referring to it with the “prison” label.
I used to play this for money back at Washington park, way back in the 1990's. Homeboys be pulling out straps when they lose dawg, if money was involved. They played for keeps.

This is a copy of a sport called "Pelota Vasca" very popular in the north of Spain. It was created long before the existence of the USA.
