Its really a sad reflection on English speakers when people who speak English as a second (or however many) language can do word play in English, while we're doing good if we can ask where the bathroom is in another language
I don't understand why people load the leg press to oblivion. Imagine how much valuable gym time is wasted to load and off-load that many plates for just a few insignificant quarter reps 🤯

Wouldnt the point of the elastic bands be to cause extraneous resistance and opposed to using at least two dozen to help push the weight up? These gymidiots spend more time on their preparation and set up to do their "ankle squats" and flying trapeze bench presses
He was using the bands to provide more assistance at the bottom of the ROM than at the top. Similar with the chains (more resistance at the top of the ROM, and less at the bottom).

Bands similar, as they keep a uniform tension at all points of the lift. WHEN THEY ARE GOING AGAINST THE RANGE OF MOTION (ie at the bottom for movements extending up) Attaching 20 bands from a dumbbell to the top of the Smith machine/ top bar acts to make the life EASIER. Like the "SLINGSHOT SUIT" in principle. Imagine being so cocky and being so clueless. Less time on the internet and more in the gym. Also, a "PHYSICS FOR DUMMIES" book might not help you but who knows

Why did that last girl occupied essentially 2 machines? She had an olympic bar at a Smith Machine. Unless she's at Planet Fitness where there's no racks, then I get it. But if there's a bar, there's got to be a rack, so why didn't she squat in a rack as opposed to a Smith Machine.

The purpose of the bands isn't to cancel weight. They aren't canceling the sane amount of weight at the easy part of the Range of Motion (ROM).
