I watched Dolemite as a child, high school and college. I saw Eddie play Dolemite. I saw this movie five times since it came out Friday Morning at 12AM. I am an independent filmmaker. This is an inspiration film for all filmmakers.

Eddie Murphy is one of my favorite people. His standup back in the day was great (Even though he cringes looking at it back) and I loved a lot of his movies, even Norbit to be honest. I would watch Dr Dolittle a lot when I was younger as well as Nutty Professor! I loved his movies when he would play multiple roles, I always thought that was amazing! That's my experience watching Eddie Murphy when I was younger. His Mr Church movie was really good too. For him to actually do a drama and pull it off. I'm excited for him to come back to SNL as well. If he brought back his old gimmicks like Mr Robinson and Gumby, it would be fantastic! I'm waiting for his next Stand Up special for Netflix, that should be a lot of fun! Anyone else noticed the studio re-cut Roker’s part ???
I watched Dolemite twice last night, the Legend is back!! #EddieMurphy I can’t wait to review this movie, it reminded me of his old film Bowfinger with Steve Martin but this film is based on true story. Rudy Ray moore was a genius he was the founding father of hip-hop music! RIP
