One detail that I’d like to point out regarding GTA 4’s train is the sparks of the tires. It looks really cool. I also like how Franklin’s clothing moves due to air resistance

You can actually train surf in gta 4 but it is only possible in a dlc mission (For The Man Who Has Everything) from the Tbogt
In this mission you steal a train cabin with yusuf amir and its a pretty cool mission
I was looking for this but man this guy keeps leaving out the dlc even its part of the game

2 reasons why we can train surf in gta v
1. Flat surface of train hood
2. Slow speed of train
real reason: Rockstar designed missions where u have to ride bikes on a train that's why they made train surfing easier in V

Most of the vehicles in GTA V cause characters to ragdoll, just like in GTA IV. There are few exceptions from that rule and one of them is train (which is technically multiple different vehicles), but interestingly, you can also "surf" on some pickups and big trucks (mostly with flat beds and you can stand anywhere on the vehicle, it's like those cars were simply whitelisted).

for gta 4 dlcs ,they have the same logic and engine design so, no big diff for gta4
He does sometimes, especially when things which aren't there in the main game are present in the dlcs, like the tanks from logbt but not in IV

For the NPC part of GTA V, can you retry it by leaving the bike on one of the empty wagons (so the bike and the NPC won't fall off) or just spawn the NPC on the train like you did for the other ones? Great vid btw
