What a cool quick project. You can probably make quite a few of those in day. Nice job!

Thank you! Getting set up took longer than the project. It maybe was 8 to 10 minutes total once I started turning from start to finish.

Great job. Handmade ornaments, for me, always beat shop brought. It’s always time well spent putting some love into the things we make. Liked the overhead camera that’s a winner as well. Keep safe and well. C.

Nice little ornament and like the texturing on it. Keep it up as Christmas ornaments and birdhouses seem to sell the best!

Hi 👋, Tanya , I hope you are both keeping safe and well, very nice job, I have noticed how your turning skills, have vastly improved, because you definitely made short work of that ornament, 😂 , sorry, I just realised you speeded up time lapse, ha ha ha, 😂.
I have nearly finished a walnut, square sided bowl, though it does have some cracks in it, which I’m going to try and sort out later today,
Keep up the great work, already drunk my coffee , hope to see you on your next Woodturning project, Art , Phil from the moulin

Thank you 😊 Try the Japanese art Kintsugi to repair the cracks. A friend of mine suggested this to me awhile back. I haven't had any cracks that I could fill. The gold with the walnut would be beautiful.

@@TanyaBecherWoodturningHi Tanya, I have seen and heard of Kintsugi in pottery and stone vessels, but hadn’t realised it could be used in or on wood, and I have seen the method of stitching wire through cracks in vessels as well, I did think about cutting through where the cracks are then glowing in some ash as decoration. That way I’ll be solving the problem of the cracks and given the bowl feature., and of course, is the cost of the materials to do Kintsugi , which present I cannot afford, and thank you for your advice. I might have a go at something else at a later date.. keep up the great work. Look forward to next Thursday. Lovely cup of coffee, Gromit, 😂 and a biscuit to, 😂. Phil from the moulin
