I love the feel of your Small Scape videos! The jazz, your voice, and your personable approach to your videos-keep it up! Educational and easy to watch!
Aww, that’s so nice of you to say. Thank you for spending part of your day here 😌
😭😭😭
Great tank update video! Glad to hear the shrimp are ok
I love the bookshelf tanks! Just got a 6 gallon one😊
Oooh- so fun!
I caught my shrimp happily picking away, upside down, at the roots of my floaters last night. Too cute. 🦐
Nice refresh!. You definitely "summerized" it!
I like the end result! Do you know which brand of tanks these are? I like the form factor!
Such small changes but made a big difference.
Thank you! 😊
I've never kept shrimp, but I have been thinking about getting some. I never would have known that if they freeze up there is something bothering them. Thanks, Joanna. 😊
Crazy, right? 😊. They’re super fun and tiny to watch! 😊😊
They do really well in a planted, cycled clear or black water tank that hardly, if ever, needs a water change.
Then it's too easy!
@@MeanOldLady thank you so much for the information. I appreciate your input. 😇 (Gina)
@@thesmallscape thank you, Joanna 😊 (Gina)
Thank you for all your great informative videos.
Happy 4th of July 🎉🎊
Nice tank refresh! Glad those shrimp helped you out and all is well! Happy 4th! 🎇 🇺🇸 😊
Hi! Thanks so much - I hope you enjoy the 4th as well! 😊
Great mini escape 😊. I have a new nano tank. (10 gallon). My hub is doing the shopping and work because my health isn’t good. He bought a group of 6 darling rasbora, but I have no idea what type they are. Silver bodies with red fins and tails. What do you think they are? He also found some darling Pygmy Cory’s, so tiny!
Fun re-scape! Question: I went to a local fish swap recently and came home with an apistogramma cactuoides triple red and 7 bronze corys for my 40b. I realized my blue dream neos could be in danger of becoming his meal so I filled a small 2.5 gallon tank with that same water and caught my 9 shrimp. Now I need to scape an aquarium for them. I'm so scared they won't be able to handle the new environment. Should I fill the new (5gallon) tank with 100% water from the 40b? Or half to mix with new water?
I love it! Joanna...have you seen Tiger Teddy livebearers? I know how much you like Least Killies (as do I) so I think you will like them too. I have a colony that I started with 2 pairs from Dan's Fish. OMG they are the cutest!!
Omg I will NEED to check them out! Cutest name too!! Thanks for the hot tip! 🙌
0_0 “what are you doing “ 😂 hope that doesn’t happen again!
I know, right?! 😂
Nice!
Your tanks look great!
Thanks, Tom! Have a wonderful 4th! 🇺🇸
Where do you get the small pebbles from? I love them.
Hi! A number of suppliers now sell them including CaribSea, they call it “midnight river” and it’s in their ‘Super Naturals Aquascapes’ line of substrates. I absolutely adore it.

Natural Rapport. Gravel Cleaner. Have you ever tried it, Joanna? I saw it in Petsmart. It is a liquid. It is supposed to be safe for aquatic life.
I have not! I may have to look into it 😊
@thesmallscape Please do a video on it. Should be interesting.
I would have never thought those tanks are 3 1/2 gallons it just dont look like it 😳😳😊😊 i have a 5 1/2 gallon but right now i just don't have the motivation to set it up yet 🤷♀️🤷♀️
The size is deceptive. I know the feeling, especially during the summer, I just don’t have the bandwidth to imagine, design nor do most scapes. Just wait until it strikes your fancy ☺️
Did the dive back in or did you have to put them back in ?
He literally just stayed there on the driftwood. I nudged him back in (so he wouldn’t jump) and did the water change. So crazy.
😬😵💫🥸
