Or was it because you could listen to silence with the Liberty 4? I’m a side lyer hmmm so will Bose work on the side ? U mentioned Liberty doesn’t work on the side !

No Bose are the most effective to cancel out the noise and well worth the cost because the sound quality are immense, if you like strong base...however you can't really sleep in them al night due to their bulk...
