We're using a Network Load Balancer (NLB) because it operates at Layer 4 and supports TCP and UDP traffic, which is suitable for our non-HTTP services and high-throughput requirements. While an Application Load Balancer (ALB) offers advanced routing features and integration with AWS services, it's designed specifically for HTTP and HTTPS traffic. So it depends on your requirement too
