Been trying to solve this problem for a student project for 3 days straight now. This was the final missing piece. Thanks so much for the fantastic tutorial!!!
I am just starting my master in devops, and you have that special way to explain. I am really impressed, this is 3rd time i am trying to understand this. Seen your video and you made me understand it like drinking water.. thank.. cheers to you...
I just searched for one of my queries, fortunately youtube suggested your video. I couldn't stop my self from subscribing and following all the videos. Thanks for making me crazy about k8s.
Will do Amon. Your support and compliments are the reason that I always bring my A-game to everything that I do. I'm very happy to help. Thank you so much. 🙂
Networking on any platform after all these years has always been my pain point. I appreciate you being so thorough and showing examples as you explain things as this helps a lot.
This is exactly what I needed for this scenario. The expansion if details about the connecting ports along with nodeport and the last balancer cleared things up for me!
Another great video Nana. Been through a number of your videos now and you always explain things in a way that I think viewers at even the beginner level will understand. Thank you.
I'm finding Ingress much harder to grasp than all of the other topics that I've covered so far in Kubernetes. I'll be watching this video carefully, and taking lots of notes! Thanks 😊

Hi Nana ! Thanks for an awesome lecture . I do have one question : You mentioned that ingress in a sense is mapped to external IP either with loadbalancer(cloud) or a proxy server bare metal. In minikube however, when u created the ingress it automatically assigned an ip to it. My assumption was we would have to map it to some sort of proxy to work ? Can u explain how that ip worked directly on your browser ?
The best Kubernetes starter guides on UA-cam for all almost all aspects of managing and running an app/service on Kubernetes. Thank you so much Nana! Bless you :)

15:40 was so valuable for me ! I could not understand why I was unable to reach my domain name from my browser. That was because I didn't map the domain name to the ingress IP.
Nana thank you, thank you, very very much! you saved my life, allowing me to understand how to configure ingress. Also, I want to congratulate you for this content, it's specific, it's very explicative and usefull. One more time, thanks a lot!

Thank you for such clear and understandable explanations of things. I tried some more “official” videos and they were quite confusing, but you keep to the subject at hand and go through it in a nice order and making sure to mention important caveats. Now to watch more of your videos, keep up the great work!
Awesome series!! I would like to add one point here, set the context if you wish to so that kubernetes will map the namespace to your namespace so that there is no need to add "-n " at end of every kubectl command. Eg: kubectl config set-context --current --namespace=. Thank you and I am enjoying your series.

Thank you. Did the trick for me. Nana, I like to type along with you and also type in all your yaml files, I feel more connected. You might want to give a heads up to coders like me that your git files contain the latest known changes if we are having problems typing in your examples. Thanks for mentioning you updated your git repo, I will check that from now on when I have a problem as a first stop to problem solving. But I will continue to type along with you.
