Polnareff encouters DIO(God) and Diavolo the devil in the stairs. whats more interesting is the chariot tarot describes the angel who sees god Polnareff looking up at dio being god in part 3, and diavolo down being the devil in the Coliseum.
i agree but so many of the people don't even appreciate the music and just make low effort memes in the comment section. they act like Jojo invented these songs.
@@zitronensaaft3454 How do you know that they're not appreciating the music? Based on a comment that doesn't say whether they like it or not? And I haven't seen anyone say that a song was invented by JoJo. (I mean I guess there's Ringo Starr's We're on the road again, but they weren't being serious)
The rusted chains of prison moons Are shattered by the sun I walk a road, horizons change The tournament's begun The purple piper plays his tune, The choir softly sing; Three lullabies in an ancient tongue, For the court of the crimson king The keeper of the city keys Put shutters on the dreams I wait outside the pilgrim's door With insufficient schemes The black queen chants The funeral march, The cracked brass bells will ring; To summon back the fire witch To the court of the crimson king The gardener plants an evergreen Whilst trampling on a flower I chase the wind of a prism ship To taste the sweet and sour The pattern juggler lifts his hand; The orchestra begin As slowly turns the grinding wheel In the court of the crimson king On soft gray mornings widows cry The wise men share a joke; I run to grasp divining signs To satisfy the hoax The yellow jester does not play But gentle pulls the strings And smiles as the puppets dance In the court of the crimson king
There's something truly magical about this Japanese guy, and his love of Western music, connecting so many people around the world... and getting them to listen to things they might never have of before.
What’s Jojo? Imma google it real quick. Oh it’s some manga/anime. I’m not really into that but I guess I’ll- -And that is why I believe Araki initially intended for Narancia to be a girl

@I-I-I-I I under stand that my man, but sometimes you just want to see what people say about the stuff you already know you know? The jojo community is very witty and has a lot to say.
Cried to an anime? You sound like a weirdo. Nothing about the show seems coherent, and the community is so die hard and cringe that every song used in the show is riddled with stupid ass references to it.
Bruno: Hey boss. Could you like not kill her? The Boss: No. Bruno: Yes. The Boss: Ok. Bruno: Really? The Boss: No. [summon King Crimson] *_*proceed to make a zipper donut_**
This song makes me think of Lovecraft for some reason. Oh also uhhhhh Italy or something I guess. I feel like I have to make a reference, or else something terrible will happen.
I decided to show you... as a parting gift. Since this is the end, I'll fill you in. What you just witnessed and felt was you in the future. You from a few seconds from the past witnessed yourself in the future. This is my *「KING CRIMSON」's* ability. *I erased time and leapt past it.*
47 years ago I listened to this album with my best buddies, in a dark basement in Chicago, while black light posters glowed on the walls. Of course, we had some good drugs to get us deep into the music. Man ! That's what the early 70s were about. I appreciate this music even more listening to it with almost a half century behind me. Thanks ELP. Magnificent.
Every time I hear the first notes of the Mellotron I'm transported right back to 1969 and I'm 16 years old lying across my bed after school, listening to this album and dreaming my life away...
rschiel50 1969 and I see the album cover on an Evanston, Illinois record shop, buying it on the strength of the cover alone. 1971, I have dropped out of Northwestern University Film School and am walking point for Second squad, second platoon, Charlie Company, First Batallion, Twentieth Infantry Regiment, AMERICAL DIVISION. Tell me music can change your life.
I think a lot of people miss the real beauty of this song. You see, Robert Fri- Vocals and the instrumentals, and that's what I think the real beauty comes from in this track.
I can only imagine a timeline where Diavolo ends up in space and meets Kars. They're discussing how both of them were going to be supreme beings and rule the world while this plays in the background.
Only the music counts, the rest is only futility, for proof, we can find this song in many films, and not the other way around... It is the music that gives value to the image and not the other way around.
@@RucklerTaran It's a jojoke, about an anime named Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, in this joke, there is the character Kars who is a half-animal half-human that tried to take over the world, on the other hand, Diavolo is the leader of the Italian Mafia who's superpower is named King Crimson (also meaning a reference to this song) who constantly dies in infinite ways. Anyways he's just saying that in one of his deaths he imagines Kars and Diavolo sharing a conversation in space while his reference plays
I've seen a lot of songs' comment sections filled with people coming from JoJo now... I've never seen tje show but I get the feeling it might be a nice watch since a lot of songs I love seem to be featured in it!
Sebastiano Montrone Definitely worth it. I myself waited a few years before finally watching it, but man was the wait worth it. Just a warning though; Jojo starts off pretty slow...and while not exactly boring....It doesn't exactly show the best if the show. Honestly I'd recommend to start on the 2012, David Productions adaptation of Jojo Part one and two. (Phantom Blood & Battle Tendency) Together they have 26 episodes, part 1 being 9 episodes, and part 2 being the remaining. I say just wait out the first 9, and then it gets better. (NOT to say part 1 is bad, it's just....far better on the re-watching. Think of it as best enjoyed as part of the larger whole.)
What memories this brought back. King Crimson, coming in on the first wave of what was to be an era of epic anthems. Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Emerson Lake and Palmer & others we don't hear very much of these days. Great musicians, great lyrics.
I remember being a little kid in the middle 1970's, my uncle wore this record out. I remember the album cover scaring the crap out of me. I have so many memories with this song, my uncle along with nearly every adult in my life at the time are gone so this is nostalgic but also very deep and at times sad to hear. I miss my family from my Brooklyn days as a little kid.

I used to listen to this in the early 70s on a show called “Beaker Street” on KAAY, Little Rock. Late at night, in the throes of teenaged angst, LOL. This was a great album. Love the memories!
One of the most incredible pieces of music ever produced. Each and every aspect of this song is magnificent, and masterfully performed. I've played drums for a bit over a decade now, and it's quite jarring to experience the difference in listening to music before and after becoming a musician. The drums in this piece are spectacular, and even more so once you have an idea of what is happening, and what it takes to achieve this level of skill. I absolutely love this song. I feel so very sorry for the people who have never heard it, and never will. What kind of life can you lead without ever hearing The Court of The Crimson King?
Only six musical notes and yet the nucleic bases of so many melodies around the world, how can we know them all? A song, a music, it’s a bit like a person, you have to have the chance to meet her, then like a person, nothing says that the first contact will be the right one, will we be able to appreciate it? To perceive the beauty of its expression? Will we be worthy of it? After all, music is a panorama that is more or less appreciated, according to a horizon that is personal to us... Best regards

As a fan of Jojo who was into Prog Rock before liking Jojo, I'm personally happy that Jojo is inspiring people to look up good music.
People complain but music like this getting more popular is such a great thing.
i agree but so many of the people don't even appreciate the music and just make low effort memes in the comment section. they act like Jojo invented these songs.

The rusted chains of prison moons
Are shattered by the sun
I walk a road, horizons change
The tournament's begun
The purple piper plays his tune,
The choir softly sing;
Three lullabies in an ancient tongue,
For the court of the crimson king
The keeper of the city keys
Put shutters on the dreams
I wait outside the pilgrim's door
With insufficient schemes
The black queen chants
The funeral march,
The cracked brass bells will ring;
To summon back the fire witch
To the court of the crimson king
The gardener plants an evergreen
Whilst trampling on a flower
I chase the wind of a prism ship
To taste the sweet and sour
The pattern juggler lifts his hand;
The orchestra begin
As slowly turns the grinding wheel
In the court of the crimson king
On soft gray mornings widows cry
The wise men share a joke;
I run to grasp divining signs
To satisfy the hoax
The yellow jester does not play
But gentle pulls the strings
And smiles as the puppets dance
In the court of the crimson king

I've seen a lot of songs' comment sections filled with people coming from JoJo now... I've never seen tje show but I get the feeling it might be a nice watch since a lot of songs I love seem to be featured in it!
That's good mate, hope u will like it
Has a slow start but ince it gets going it doesn't stop.
Yeah. Nice having you dude!
Then you must be a great fan of prog rock
What memories this brought back. King Crimson, coming in on the first wave of what was to be an era of epic anthems. Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Emerson Lake and Palmer & others we don't hear very much of these days. Great musicians, great lyrics.

Even though i'm a big JoJo fan i feel so bad for the dudes just enjoying the music and don't know what JoJo is let alone anime in general there's been so many songs on youtube i love and then since JoJo got super popular the comment section devolved into random JoJo references lmao i think it's great JoJo has gotten so many people into older music though they almost certainly would have never discovered on their own!

Hello there
Let me take ten seconds to explain how King Crimson works. And that's pretty much how he works, a powerful stand indeed.
Avaricious Andrew If you actually don’t know how KC works he’s skips time not erase time I knew it in a comment of someone trying to explain KC
Natsu gaming999 he’s making a joke my guy about King Crimson
Damn it I was pouring water from the kettle and now my tea's overflowing! Hate it when an enemy Stand ruins my hot drinks
I don't get it I thought you were going to explain the instruments and chords?
This video was my introduction into the band, the only KC song I listened to up until summer of 2024. Now I’m a fan hehe

Is this the real song? Every other source doesn’t use this one.

@@Scazoid Copyright King is the stand of Robert Fripp. Copyright King is similar to Remote Romance in the way how it manifests itself through the internet. It is an automatic stand, which range exists anywhere you can post high quality rips of music onto. Its ability is to erase any high quality rips of original King Crimson (the band) music for the world, and determine its copyright infringement levels no matter how high quality the rip is. All high quality rips of King Crimson are destined to be claimed by Copyright King, no matter how long it takes!
This stand was created by Robert Fripp's intense outrage over when he realized people wouldn't download King Crimson's music for his official website, but instead listen to copyright infringing high quality rips of music on other websites.
