I understand that for a house with no pool or gym it does seem visually weird
I have been obsessed with this house for over a year! Used to drive through the neighborhood when it was being built and knew it would be insane! Absolutely loved the tour, did a much better job giving insight to the space rather than the 3D tour on Zillow!

Damn. I have been looking at home videos for years. This house is hands down the best luxury home I've ever seen. Most homes are either too over the top or just quite outside of my tastes. This one pops on all fronts exactly the way I want.
A house like this in southern Ontario would be 4x the price, would rather move to Alberta and have a home like this then live in Ontario
It's nice but a Blue Heron home trumps this...easily.

Probably one of the biggest homes I’ve seen that have a mostly traditional suburban home decor, with the brown rugs, the cheap entrance carpet, and some modernist additions.

Calgary can be quite pleasant even in winter months. Depends a lot on the mountains close by.
Plus, you get to experience the fun of being eaten alive by mosquitoes two weeks after the snow melts until winter starts again 😂
That is why there is no pool outside. No one is that brave.
Most of the time I watch these kinds of videos I mostly just dream about the houses, but could never really see myself living in one of them. This is one of the few houses I could actually see myself living in. I would make some changes. And being from Calgary just makes it that much better
It really is a gem in Calgary! Any home will need some personalization for sure, but overall this home is really well rounded!

This is spectacular for the money. The only drawback is the harsh winters in Calgary. I am more of tropical living kind of guy from South Florida.

Winters aren't that harsh here in Alberta. It only gets to minus 40F, and expect snow 8 months of the year lol.

are you kidding me? Not only is this house just big and bland, it's situated in the middle of nowhere; no views whatsoever to speak of. Contrast that to vancouver's mountains to the north, and the fraser river or the majestic pacific ocean views (for those mega mansions, anyway)...
I'd honestly rather live in a $600k condo with ocean views in vancouver than this house, even if i was a billionaire.
@@YSFmemories See I get you but you're talking about views and location. Of Course Vancouver wins all the way. However, I'm talking about the designs. Calgary's houses seem more modern from the building materials to furniture. I see space, I see comfort, I see a different architectural pattern.

What a fantastically dreary house. I can’t even call this a home. If big is your only goal then congratulations you won. Boring, square drywall boxes, off-the-shelf mouldings devoid of any interesting details, looks like every home built in Calgary for a decade just bigger.

Pools in general are not that popular in Calgary due to the long winters and to much up keep for indoor pools.
