no, but I rarely have German TV shows I like and I was very sceptic of this one cause the Sisi show from last year didn't quite impress me but boy, the questionable costumes aside, this was SO good. Go and watch The Empress / Die Kaiserin on Netflix it is absolutely worth it.

Loved "The Empress!" So happy to see a video for it. "Questionable costumes aside..." oh my god yes! Costumes were pretty, but boy were they just wrong, haha! Hope we get a season 2. So much of her story left to tell.
You know what, I really love the show and don't get me wrong I love Franz and Elisabeth, but there's something about Maximilian. He's just so 🔥 and everytime he and Elisabeth are on screen together it just starts getting a little 🥵

and of course!! they both make me a bit sad; i thought franz would be a great match but i was frustrated with him at the end of the show. and maximilian also was out to get his family which bugged me too. ugh. poor girl needs someone who appreciates her xD

@@CursebreakerYT i hadn't even heard about the other tv show - or even the old original trilogy! i might watch the originals bc i just saw an edit of those, and they seem to give happier endings/vibes lol. xD but UGH IM NOT READY TO BE DESTROYED EMOTIONALLY BY THESE PEOPLE. the acting is incredible though. they better get renewed!
