@@W4KWS I picked up a 820S for $160 shipped a few years ago. And also had a 830S sent to me by a ham in FLA who was going to throw it out. I fixed it, re-capped it (all the caps) and realigned it. What an outstanding receiver! And it's got the gorgeous analog RF speech processor for transmit, as well. As does the 820S! Congrats again on the station!

Just some fun on the 830S
To tell you the truth, I love this old radios compared to modern ones. With just enough TLC this radios may possibly outrun modern units.
