That video will always haunt me. I first seen it on Twitter where someone called him The Mexican Tupac so obviously I was like 👀👀👀 and clicked. My blood ran cold as I processed him reading and realizing the contents of the note. He knew he was gonna die regardless and that note was more of a “just to let you know, we’re here and you’re not making it to tomorrow” thing so he just did it anyway bc why not atp. And then knowing his son died young too is just worse.

Why isn't Andrés Escobar (Colombian professional footballer) death mentioned in the list? Wasn't his muder also a cartel assassin, in an aftermath of the 1994 FIFA World Cup, reportedly as retaliation for having scored an own goal which contributed to the team's elimination from the tournament?

His coach had told him to stay home and not to go out, they wanted to wait out the heat they were facing because of the elimination from the WC. Andres went out anyways
And once he got to the bar
Some guy started harassing him and shouting insults at him for scoring the own goal. Andres shouted back at him and he left
He was shot afterward in the parking lot
Not sure if the guy who did it was affiliated with any of the cartels but it’s likely

Some subgenres of ranchera, Chalino was what is called norteño music, Valentin Elizalde was on the banda and the kpaz vocalist was from pasito duranguense (a simplified version of banda that uses electronic instruments)

How about when El Mencho called in personally to the chief/captain of the police in Jalisco? Nothing about Cartel De Noreste, Knights Templario, United Cartel, Juarez Cartel, Los Zetas and La Linea.

No the most feared is not Chapo, it’s El Mayo. The real boss to the Sinaloa Cartel the media made Chapo , The main man because of the prison escapes But he wasn’t the number one guy.
El Chapo was a dude, not the name of the whole cartel. And El Mayo is Chapo's boss, he has never been caught and is more feared. He's almost 80, probably gonna die of old age before the feds ever catch him.

I work with a lot of guys from Mexico... this singers who were killed openly choose, sided, sang about certain cartels.... what else do you expect to happen to them? And country a drumk 18 year old IG influencers talked shit on a cartel in a quick clip and was violently gunned down days later
