I would recommend watching some tutorial videos on how to use Maximus as a mastering tool and work on it for yourself. You will achieve a much better sound.

I have a tip for you EDWAN. If you just mouse over the effect you want to move and then use your scroll wheel, it moves the effect up and down the rack. Much faster and easier than going into the menu. You might want to add that in an annotation to your video.

For sidechaining you don't have to mute the ghost kick. You can just click sidechain to this track only and it won't output to the master channel.
