    I don't get how you aligned the vray camera on the scene.

    You missed a critical step in the tutorial - how do you create the camera after adjusting the perspective lines? It seems that you did a jump cut at 3:16 without explaining this. As soon as I create a camera from view, my carefully adjusted view gets slightly distorted and no longer matches the camera matching I just did.

    Hey Denis Basically it is this tutorial I am looking for. But one step isn't clear. You make the box and then you go to perspective match and your cam is changing to Vray Cam. So when did you this cam ? Because if I make a cam after making box and go to perspective match and change to Vray Cam the box is so big the whole dimension are gone,,, unfortunately noot as per your tutorial. So what do I wrong ?

    it's fine! but you have to use Free camera instead of vraycamera and the line don't move anymore :D
    For zoom in the photo in the viewport you have to check the [+] button in the top left and click on the "2D Pan Zoom mode"

    But you did the table top on zero level..
    As per the pic, it should be on 50cm. AFFL!!

    It does match the size, but doesnt need to. Sometimes what you draw is super small or super big compared to what you are trying to model. You should always have some real life measurements of any object of the scene to be able to know the rest of the measures. Also, that table you modeled, doesnt necesaryly has that size, because you were creating the cylinders at Z:0, wich cannot be the height of that table, this shows how this can lead to errors due to perspective.
    According to your measures, that table is roughly 160cm wide. Is the sofa 320cm wide?

      Generally if you are trying to get the real life size you base it on something that had unified size. This would mean like the size of a door, or the height of a ceiling if you have a standard scene. If you don't have that, then you try to get at least an aproximation of one of the elements in the scene and base it on that :)
      I didn't mention that in the video, but in all the live streams that we did i always used a real world sized biped to help with the dimensions.
      Kudos to you for pointing this out though.

    wow, what a garbage feature, it moves the lines when you move a line, messing everything up for you. Blender is deservedly taking over

    My guy this doesn't work with Vray cameras.....And in your video it switched from perspective to a camera by itself? What sorcery is this?

    • @DenisKeman
      @DenisKeman  4 місяці тому

      Ctrl+C Creates a camera at the point where you have your viewport at that time. That's the sorcery you were talking about :)
