I was SO DAMN oblivious to the Reinforced leather/Durable cloth idea even though i had found out for the gilded lumber and somehow I NEVER made the connection lol... and even more embarrassingly I know for sure i have extracted before random reinforced leather I have found from loot!
I JUST figured that out earlier tonight "Wait...these recipes that need leather...can I use reinforced leather?" And then, of course, made the connection with durable cloth shortly afterward. I felt like such a moron and I can't believe this isn't told to the player in any form.
Took me forever to realize this as well. Did a little poking around though and it’s good to note the substitution doesn’t work with all things. For example I tried making tools that called for a blade, and the recipe would not accept a gilded blade. Cloth/leather/lumber seem to be the only ones at this time.
I really appreciate the time you put into making that sheet, showing what colors you get from each fabled creature and where to find them. I'm trying to make a black and red type armor, but I'm not sure which ones could be good for ranged damaged. Great video!
I've found Fabled Elder Eoten Wood somewhere. Anyway, if you can find that, it comes in 2 varieties. Type 1 - Ranged Damage 10%, Health Regen 60/m, Stamina Regen 3/s; and Type 2 - Health Regen 60/m, Stamina Regen 3/s, Injury Resistance 15%. Very nice for ranged weapons when gilded with Einaidia ingots.
one thing I don't see nearly enough people mention are the "common ores." What I refer to by this are the common ore rocks you find just lying around in the realms, not the outcrops in caves or other POIs, the simple standard ore rocks. Each major realm type has its own unique set of common ores, such as if you're having issues finding either pursuit for ranged damage or ayrium for melee, go raid either hunt or gloom realms as those are the "common ores" for those two realm types. Biome doesn't matter for this, so it's whichever you feel like running around in. Copper and Tin are in antiquarian, Zinc and shimering are in astrolabe, iron and nickel in provisioner, silver and cobalt in herberium, and as mentioned, pursuit and ayrium in gloom and hunt. I also believe cave ores are linked to biome and not realm type, but this has not been confirmed. I seem to find mostly gold and kyrosite in deserts which I run around in most often, need to run more realm types for testing. Edit: I can confirm that normal and ascended realms share the same common ore spawns.
A video That explains how to get the final recipes/undiscovered skills would be amazing. I have completed all of the main and side quests except: A new Rumour: Hear Wilhelmina's Newest Rumour. I think it is glitched, she tells me she has nothing to say to me?
7- Timberknot the young is at ascended herbarium desert didn't have a stamps on the map so it's hard too find it give : T4 fable sere Eoten wood max stamina +20 move speed +1.8% environnmental resistance 25%
You don't use oberons bounty when harvesting. Why? It adds a double or near to of any resource harvest. I use it on the Eotens to get more timber for my effort. Shame it doesn't work for arena boss farming. Wellans reach boss Sheliak is a good choice if you want weight increase but have durability and damage as well.
@pcdeltalink036 yep, it is addicting I miffed when the spell timeout delay tricks me into hitting resources, and oberon isn't active. Lose put on both loot and explosions/instant fall trees.
Durable cloth is a pity u cant use as a cloth in gear,it only works when clothing need textiles 😢or my game is bugged,like the forge card to make on the forge😅

Heck, even if it didn't double the harvest I just love breaking trees/rocks in one hit. Feels awesome.

Yes you can. it works for textile and cloth, just not lining.
