The casting change isn't Liam Hemsworth's fault. He should get the support of the Witcher following simply because he's keeping the character alive. I'm ecstatic for the new season, and I'm so happy that Hemsworth is at least attractive... Had Jack Black been cast as Geralt I'd have significantly a different idea of the character change 😅😅😅
I know Liam is a great actor... but losing Henry to the Witcher is like losing Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates...it wont be the same. Im not sure I'll continue watching without him.
It was painful to watch Season 3. It was so mixed up. And I hadn’t even known about Henry leaving!!! Now? Won’t be bothering with Season 4… not EXCITED! 😂
Not happy about this😮 That is like changing the character of Jack Sparrow from Johnny Depp to another Actor you just cannot do that and expect the fans to be happy about a main character change, oh hell, no
No Witcher without Cavill. I like the Hemsworth brothers, but none in that show and I would never support those ignorant, insensitive screenwriters. Audience doesn't have to give up every promised standards and we don't have to consent in lowering the quality of series/ movie making any further. See what that did to the quality of ordinary TV where they don't give a sh.. about any critique anymore. Even viewers should have some dignity left and not be seen as stupid consumers without a real opinion with whom the producers can do what ever they want. Otherwise, the quality of future productions will pay the price. The show without Cavill is such an idiocy as the X Files without Scully and Mulder - absolutely useless, without any empathy and a last try to get a bit more money out of a dead horse. Not gonna help to drag that any further. 🤦
Think it sucks that the producers chased Henry away because they want to write their own story. Now they’re going to be more accurate? Seriously? I want to know what happens in the story, but don’t know if I’ll like it without Henry or if the chemistry will work.
It's not simply about their own adaption - they promised something else and think they can kick audience's asses now cause viewers will accept it anyways. That's exactly what happened to the quality of ordinary TV where critique doesn't count anything anymore. That's what will happend to future series/ movies, if we don't start to stick to just a few standards! Common sense. I would not let them treat me that way and all should be proud of Cavill for defending a bit of quality and standard in that business. And I would never support that conduct of those screenwriters!
I never read the books nor played the game, so my only exposure to the Witcher is the show. I watched season 3 part 2 the day it came out. I didn't like it. Period. I will probably give season 4 a try, but don't expect to follow it. Let's see if the writers can change my mind, but I doubt it. Not the same without Henry!
Actually I thought Henry's flat monotone voice was a really silly idea.I hope Liam's voice doesn't try to copy it.Liam is a really good actor. I think we should give him a chance. After all its the girls that carry the show in my opinion.Freya and Anya are superb. I think if they're changing actors they should have gone the whole hog and cast Idris Elba. He's just scary without the wig or the voice.
I won't be watching the Witcher any longer. So to all the movie makers. You can't change the main character and still expect us to watch. Also to other actors when you go to a job. Make sure you can do the whole job.. or don't bother. Goodbye Witcher. Ratings are gonna suck.
No one can be Geralt Of Rivia- but ppl need to give a chance for other actors- like Anya n Freya - which is their 1st big project and have so amount of hardwork n dedication like HC. HC is a great actor with an already successful career. But what about new comers? Feel sorry for them
It's not about Hemsworth or screenwriters who simply "do their own adaptation" - they promoted and promised something else in the beginning, to fans, the author and even their main cast! Then they tried to ignore that, didn't keep their word, ignored all warnings and critique and still do so to stick to their insensitive conduct. No empathy at all. That's bad show business and kicking the audience's asses cause they think viewers would accept anything they do anyways without any standards at all. Well, fine, if you like to be treated that way and lower the quality of movie/ series making even further, have fun - we will live with the results in future productions, I'm sure of it. It's called common sense. - I'd rather set a sign and try to stick to some dignity at least. 🤔 Have a look at most ordinary TV programmes today and you see what happens when no standards and critique matters to producers anymore cause the they think most people would consent anyway... 🤦
Cavill is the only person who wanted the show to be good. Show runners don't want a good show they want to cancel strong male roles so they can represent themselves is someone else's story because they aren't smart enough to write their own story. Even the cast knows that they are filming for no reason. They should have all left too but I get they don't have the same stable career
an example of how to waste a good film and chance of success... If you make a film based on a book - then you stick with the book and don't think up cosmic events
I would not support the conduct and broken promises of those screenwriters any further and lower the standards of future productions any more cause they think they can do whatever they want with the audience and source material... 🤨
Given the weird nature of the books, different translators, written out of story chronolgy order, time and space teleporting, etc. a slightly different looking Geralt should not be too hard to accept. But, Henry embodies Geralt. He has made the role his own. This is like when Sean Connery was no longer Bond. The TV chaps must adapt the books to a core-cast-based story line or the whole thing becomes impossible to film. So we must accept there will be changes. However, poor Liam, he has some huge boots to fill, lets hope he has the magic to keep them on.
We had some great bonds after sean connery. I Thought Daniel Craig was pretty good. Time for a female black bond. What about Apple TV's "Foundation" which was meant for a white male lead but they cast a black female, Lou LLiobell who is absolutely superb and now I can't imagine anybody else. We'll get over it I'm sure.

I would give Liam a shot, Henry definitely had his hopes up that they would stay to the books if they have screen writters when its already written for them and already had there mind set on doing there own thing....he will be missed, but i have always learned to just watch things based off books as an individual, or ill be disappointed.

Do you think there's another actor who could replace Henry Cavill role in The Witcher? Or is the show over for you? Let us know in the comments 👇🤔

Without Cavill it Will not be the same😢
I agree that it won't be the same, but at least give Hemsworth a chance.
If he's totally bad then... anyway he deserves a chance
I don't watch it again. HENRY CAVILL is the face of Geralt of Rivia. Nobody can replace him 😢
Henry will be missed I don't think any other actor can fill his shoes
Never be the same , without Henry Cavill
Without Cavill=over
I know Liam is a great actor... but losing Henry to the Witcher is like losing Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates...it wont be the same. Im not sure I'll continue watching without him.

I'm just hearing about this too. Liam as witcher, what a joke.
Henry Cavill is GERALT, no one else will be able to replace him, it just wouldn't be the same.
I don't Watch If Henry Cavill Doesn't Work In Season 4 There is no The Witcher without Henry Cavill❤
It’s over for me, I will not be watching the next season. but I will be reading the books now
Not happy about this😮 That is like changing the character of Jack Sparrow from Johnny Depp to another Actor you just cannot do that and expect the fans to be happy about a main character change, oh hell, no
iam not watching it anymore after s3 henry cavill love❣
It's going to be hard to watch the show without him. They shouldn't have killed off Roach like that
I will not be watching without Henry Cavill.
Without Henry Cavill.... The witcher webseries is not.....😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

I'll still watch the series when season 4 comes out but I would still miss the old Witcher...
No its not possible no one else can do a better job
Love films by Liam, but the role of Gerald of Rivia s definitely for Henry Cavill' that no other actors can replace.
The witcher is over for me. I want to see Henry Cavill as Rush from The Longing of Lone Wolves by Lana Pecherczyk
It's over 😑
I just finish S3 crying cause Henry Cavill leaving when S4 comes out I won’t be watching it
Producers live in their fantasy. They show us a Geralt that everyone loves for 3 Seasons and in Season 4 another Geralt that I don't care about
IT'S OVER FOR ME, I THINK HE MADE THE SHOW!!
Season 3 was so good man and you know that the people are gonna Sonic the Witcher like this is Henry cavill. This show better fix what their doing
Never be the same. No Cavill no Witcher. I am done with Witcher. The producers wasted our time , they never thought of the worthe of the fans.
I never read the books nor played the game, so my only exposure to the Witcher is the show. I watched season 3 part 2 the day it came out. I didn't like it. Period.

Geralt is Henry Cavill ...!!!
Bye Bye Witcher
No Henry, No Witcher

Netflix should just cancel it in my opinion there going to have a hard time captivating, the audience with a different actor.
He reminds me of a friend of mine.

Yes it is possible. Just get Michal Zebrowski
Yes Liam is a very good actor and he knows what fans are e expecting who knows with enough money Henry might stay?!!
Should we just unsub Netflix altogether... Haha
New geralt look like Chinese version of original geralt 😂😂😂
Cavill is the only person who wanted the show to be good. an example of how to waste a good film and chance of success...
