I know a lot of people cover Nikko, but I'd really love to see the gang tackle Nikko. I'm planning my first trip in November and when I went to look up trains to Nikko, it looked INSANELY complicated. Everyone's videos make it look so easy but they never explain how! Would love to see it handled the way you've been handling these other videos :)
@@kapdragon I second a Nikko-themed video! I've always wanted to go, but as you said it kind of seemed out of the way/confusing. Would love to see the Tokyo Creative take on a Nikko day trip!

If you're interested in Japanese history, don't miss the Hakone Checkpoint Museum. The Hakone Checkpoint was a very important stop along the famous Tokaido Road between Edo (Tokyo) and Kyoto.
So many memories seeing you visiting Hakone. The Odakyu desk at Shinjuku station, Hakone station, Hakone Shrine, the 'pirate' ferry and the illuminated garden have hardly changed since i went in October 2015. We couldn't visit Hell Valley because of seismic activity, so it's nice to see you guys there. Thank you Emma, Shiori, Joey, Aki and of course Chris 'the camera man' for making this video.
Despite the gloomy and rainy weather, it has so much upbeat positive vibes from Emma and Shiori ^_^ And WHO WAS IN CHARGE OF THE FANCY CAPTIONS ON THE VIDEO? I love it !!
Hagumi28 I think maybe she's just shy around new people, which is totally understandable. I think it might take a while for her to feel more comfortable on this channel, but i totally relate. I was in Hakone in February! We had snow that turned to sun as we walked from Motohakone to Hakone-yumoto. I was also with a group of old friends, some of whom I hadn't seen in a few years, It was a great experience.
You looked so cute in these raincoats! Reminds me of the teletubbies a bit hahaha or just cute dwarfs in the forest. Also, love the editing style! Who did that?
Hakone is without doubt a surreal and peaceful place to visit, theres so much aesthetically pleasing spots like the shrine by the lake near ashi. Sucked it rained for you guys but love the colourful ponchos!!! Didnt stop you guys from having fun Dang the shrine had renovations ???, when was this shot at? I was there in december and there was no renovations and was stunning ! I have to agree if anyone has time - def take a trip down to hakone
The filming, editing, content, music basically EVERYTHING was so on point in this video! so fun to watch, and i could really feel the positive vibes :D ~~
I can't wait to go later this year! Woot woot! You all seem like so much fun TBH, and Chris my man! Hiding behind the camera! Hahaha. I loved the screaming in the foot bath!
Loved those ponchos, Aki looked like a little yellow daisy about to blossom in hers, with her head half way out of the hood. The illuminations were beautiful.
As a tourist I can vouch for this trip as a day out! We did this trip last week to see Fuji and were lucky enough to have good weather, a really good view of it from the South side of Lake Ashi and on the cablecars being run with the Hakone Free pass. Worth a trip if the weather is nice and you want to see Fuji!
I visited Hakone overnight in November and it's by far one of my favourite places! I had a morning private onsen and watched the sunrise through the trees and mountains and it was breath taking. Also the eggs are surprisingly delicious! I can't wait to visit Hakone again
We were there for a couple of days last year. Loved every minute. We went there in the middle of our trip, (after a busy week in Tokyo) because its a great place to relax, and take a breather.
My fiancé and I got engaged November last year at the Hakone shrine, underneath the tori gate. It really is such a gorgeous spot. This video brings back some lovely memories for us :)
I saw this video on my home page and it makes me really happy! Hakone was one of the places I went on my week trip to Japan and I loved it. Going on the pirate ship was really cool, and while I missed my chance to eat the black eggs (because I wasn’t sure if the package I saw was it until I saw the sign out front when we left), being up there was a really neat experience. I would definitely go back when I get the chance. I got such great memories from watching this! It was cool to see the shrine from the inside in the video since I only saw it while going across the lake!
About "Romancecar" name per Odakyu Electric Railway: There is no record of when or how that name was established. One theory is that the term is derived from an old trend in places such as movie theaters for two-person seats, which were called “romance seats”.
Shiori is such an Energizer bunny !! Me and my bestie stayed 1-nite in Hakone as a 2-nite side trip from Tokyo to Enoshima then to Hakone . The Hakone Outdoor Art Museum is amazing and so much fun! Spent at least 4 hours just roaming about and enjoying the mashup of art within nature. HIGHLY recommend this place :)
Oh! I'm so glad you guys did an Exploration video about Hakone! I've only been once (during a Mt. Fuji tour) and I knew Hakone was a onsen town so I was planning next trip to stay, but I had no idea there was so much to do in Hakone! That little Torii gate by the water is actually able to be seen from across the water at an Art Museum on the opposite end! Which is really cool for taking photos :) Will definitely be pencilling these down as something to do on my next trip to Japan when I stay a couple of nights in Hakone :D
I'm planing on going to Hakone next time I'm in Japan. Thanks for the great look at the area, ever if it was raining. Keep up the great work and please show us more great places in Japan to see.

Will go there with my Parents in May after the Kanda/Sanja matsuri. We will rent a car to drive from Tokyo to Hakone and from there to kawaguchiko to view Mount Fuji. After that we drive back to Tokyo to activate our rail ways passes and go south west. I have to say this helps a little bit to show my parents what we can do there.
