I’m a 23y/o Australian, been listening to EEK since I was 15 and I discovered him in Europe... Why are they treating him like he was known only in Jamaica 40years ago?
Mi Grow Up Listening To Eek-A-Mouse (80s) Real Legend 💯
Eek-A-Fish
mr Eek-a-Mouse.....real legend....hats off to this nigga
Nightly Fix flap on this interview. How can you have a legend like Eek-a-Mouse and you asked him some of the dumbest questions. The problem with you young heads you don't know anything about reggae and dancehall music outside of Jamaica. When Eek-a-Mouse comes to Europe even 15 years old kids go to his shows that's how big he is out here . You people keep sleeping in Jamaica.
fi real....I agree they should give him more time compared to some of the other younger artistes that don't have the clout that EEK a Mouse have
RastaCrip WGM A U AND HIM A FUCK THATS WHY YUH KNW!!!!! FUCKING SNITCH!!!!!! FOH!!!!!
Yeah , I agree , i was thinking before watching this , hopefully they not gonna ask , how did u get ur name. First question: How did u get ur name ,....lol
Agreed
Crucial P Denis Lea dumb question
I played keyboards with Eek-a-Mouse when the Jah-Malla backed him up in 1984-1985 we had fun and sold out crowds here in America, he is truly a Icon in dance hall and a hell of a charismatic Entertainer and a talented brother more than nuff people could know, as he loved to call me Iron Skin those were good times. Big up to you mi friend and too bad the interviewers really did not do their home work to really interview you but at least them tried. There were other great accomplishments you are noted for.
wow, you played for Mouse during the best era. Jah Malla is probably the best band to ever back him up. Tell us more about him and his character on & off stage during that time. His dominance, the crazy costumes, all that. There isn’t a lot of footage from that time period & we’d love to know. BIG UP
& I’ve heard him say your name, Iron Skin, in a performance the other day. it was the 1984 reggae fest. do you have any old footage or tapes?
Did you play in Belgium ?
EEK A MOUSE REAL DANCEHALL ICON
MARTIN ELLINGTON he also needs to be locked up

Naro Nightly Fix is a good program definitely but you people are lacking maturity and use too many gimmick when interviewing person relevant to the culture. Eek a Mouse is giving you gems and truth but you're joking around. In the 70's youth of your age did not have the opportunity of being around influential individuals like him y'all weren't even born yet so respect the truth of the legends journey and put some professionalism inna your craft
Eek-A-Fish
Demar'jei Jameir very true great point

How unno have s legend like this and only give him/us 17 minutes. A weh du unno

Eeeka - Mouse the baddest mouse in the house😃 Upments dadda ❤️🇯🇲
NARO - why did you disrespect EEk a Mouse throughout this interview?
I have an idea why but would like you to speak on it?
We need another Eek-a-Mouse interview @Nightly Fix If you only knew who this man really is #Legend

And rightfully so....apparently
No respect for a legend
Legendary
Real Legend
Big up Eek-a-mouse!!!!
They should show more respect to eek a mouse during the interview. In any other country especially Europe these guys are highly respected.
"Benjamin Zip Up" haha
Big Up the legend Eek-a-Mouse
Eediat gyal a interview a legend
Big up Mouse, living legend!
The mistake that is costantly made is that it's only young people alone who listens to music and it's only Dancehall that is listened... There is a market other than Dancehall..
I live in the uk (England)
There is a big fan base for a type of music called Drum and Bass music .. eek a mouse is an icon of this music and much loved by the Drum n Bass music fans over here, the interviewer seems totally unaware of this
I think the interviewers don’t even know who they interviewing 🤔
Legend!
EE A MOUSE is a icon
This is the best song man eek mouse for every big up
this is not an interview , please Google the legend's before you bring them on your show, at lease you know what to ask them , if you know nothing about them what you gonna ask them, sad
You guys need to do unnu home work before an interview, unnu sound stupid, big up the real Legend!!!!!
Next guys do your research on people before you do an interview. How could you have such an icon on your show and not be prepared to ask some more intelligent question? I am not knocking you guys its just that there was no substance to the interview. That man is very smart so that session was not for him.
Went to high school with him respect di Mouse!!
Fadda mouse no normal . big respect
Respect to the fix family but this interview mi never really like how it was conducted, seems no real research was done to ask the legendary reggae artist real questions
Big up yourself Legend!
Was a short interview but it's no1 for me, EEK A MOUSE jeez for once I felt an interview Legendary!!!!
I DON'T SEE DISRESPECT.. I JUST HEAR YOUNG PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW THERE WITH A MUSICAL LEGEND.. IJS
Eek a mouse the legend!!!
Teach Dem! Is the person to interview a legend like eek-a -mouse.
This generation don't have a clue or respect for the legends that Jamaica has produced.
I've always found Naro to be extremely arrogant and annoying and nothing about him warrants this level of thinking, which is why I am rarely able to watch a complete interview.
An artist of eek a mouse's generation set the foundation for the next generation of dancehall artist, such as buju's generation to have internationally successful careers.
So therefore, command a level of appreciation and respect. Which was missing in this interview.
This generations music, and so called popular artist foundation is weak as they lack the necessary talent, self respect, knowledge and appreciation for the music and artist who laid the foundation and set the standard.
It's sad that Jamaican music has lost its way, especially on the international stage, with exception to a few.
We are literally watching this generation dashing away a legacy which was handed to them.
His set at Sunsplash 1982 was legendary
You guys weren't prepared for that interview it's obvious
eekamouse you and roots radics were in that time a massive combination
Man I love his hats!!!
A LEGEND
The GENERAL!!
Big up! I have many Eek A Mouse, album, that's right mi say album Nigga! Bought back in the day from V P Records in Jamaica, Queen & Brooklyn. Dem no understand Da prince!!! Respect due to the poor man build em house on the sand.

Disgraceful ...how dem FI a style style a legend dem way ya 👎🏾👎🏾
Your legend gay enuh
They’re clueless.
My father actually introduced me his music
Grow up on this artis
Big respect up up
InI was in Germany long time inna da 90’s his voice and tunes was original and of good vibrations, respeck the elder , ah better question should have been asked , interviewer not prepared , we can do better
Eeka Mouse is probably up there when it comes to touring with Burning Spear, Yellow Man and the Wailers you won't see them trying to capture the Dancehall market.. Stop minimizing the music. .
st.clare hill
the dancehall market is garbage ,guns, violence sex ,misogyny very negative ,self destructive ,crap
Nothing positive wholesome and spiritual in the vibes at all.
The current dancehall market tarnishes Jamaica image however the Rastafarian element in Jamaican music through the 70s ,early eighties did so much to uplift, bring fame ,,refinement prestige to the image of Jamaican music and by extension the country
In regards to the current dancehall market it won't do nothing outside Jamaica ,no one outside Jamaica interested in that crap ,it's just degenerate lowlife bad minded violence tinged foolishness
Where the appeal
It's sickening
As for minimising the music
The music doing a great job of minimising itself
Without anyone help
Good day
I saw Eekamouse with Yellowman in the early 2000’s. Sick show
Big up Eek-A-Mouse the legend...My respects, 4thGeneration #Genna4G!
I think it was a mistake on Eeka Mouse's part to have gone on NF- as they seem to relate to younger acts better. I think a much better place would've been like a Winford Williams on Onstage. Study the older and better professionals- ok Nightly Fix? I cringed during the whole interview😨🤤👀
Eek-A-Mouse wasn't good on Onstage either though. He's delusional to say the least
Eek A Mouse is the greatest I still have a record with him on A Dee Jay Explosion Part 1 I love Eek A Mouse nuff respect
Real legend.
real big icon big up eek a mouse
Legend...
Eeka the living legend ya
Greatest of all!!! And they don't know
big big artist this, every christmas time,my father use to play that eek christmas song.this man is a living legend and will always have his place cause his sound is unique and cant be imitated or duplicated.hast why i tell artist be unique in there sound, cause when your unique, you will always have your place not matter how long ppl no hear you.this is the founding father of sing j.from you hear the sound you know who this is.unlike some artist nowadays who just copy from another artist and say they ah great artist, there is nothing great about copying and thast why i don't rate them.for you to be great, you have to come with something different and unique
Power
Real LENGED Ecko Mouse Jah bless

Dah gyal fool fool gyal one bagga waste question u ask the legend smh see why this show got cancel them no ready
I guess I'm hearing about this Eek-Mouse now, after his cocaine accusations of legends in a previous video..I may go down a rabbit hole

Bad interview
Drop the ball!!!!
Wow🤔.
You will never see smoke without fire Clash is in reggae 2
I got the same sentiment as in the comment by king Constantine it looks like they take EEk a mouse for a fool.
The dude in the red clearly has no respect for eeka I can tell he wasn’t even born in that era
Big interview this
Hey bouy what kind of question you asking a legend about what he have to offer to a generation kmt i think you need to do some research on Eek a mouse.
A dem meck di poor man start dress like woman and haffi do fuckery fi bounce back from the fight. Frigga dem
His music is alternative reggae!!! C'mon!!
Three words "Heineken Star Time"
This Bredda ya, could have been one of the biggest stars, out of Jamaica. The mouse don't have to rape, I've seen the powers that them youth ya push a foreign.
Ten of us (friends) just unsubscribed this channel, too much professionalism, my last time watching these clowns....goodbye
Denisha Pryce badmind interviewer
I stopped watching ages ago. It's just because I saw eek a mouse. But I was quickly reminded why I don't watch this channel. The lack of knowledge, professionalism, respect and complete arrogance from Naro is to much to stomach.
If you lick mi down mi pick mi up mi bounce right back I'm a hard man Fe dead
Real solid nigga.
I felt uneasy watching this interview they acted to this grown man as if he's a mad man. they showed no respect what so ever. smh I bet if a did bounty kill a or beenie man they wouldn't even dare to act like that.
salute pay di mouse
Mouse is from the classic era of reggae that blended dancehall with roots reggea. The reason he is still current is because reggae has not been as good since then and it pretty much sucks now. Of course there are still some good artists now coming out with some good stuff now, but it doesn't compare to what was happening in Mouses era. I really don't think Mouse can continue to create new bangers now that that the young folks will dig. He has to continue to play his old material, which is timeless!
😂😂😂😭😭😭😭
Live my mouse along please 🙏
Funny guy and looks
Love. Eekamous. You look. Good is. Single.
