- College Station is a city in Brazos County, Texas, situated in East-Central Texas in the heart of the Brazos Valley, in the center of the region known as the Texas Triangle. It is 83 miles (130 kilometers) northwest of Houston and 87 miles (140 km) east northeast of Austin. As of the 2010 census, College Station had a population of 93,857,[4] which had increased to an estimated population of 117,911 as of July 2019.[5] College Station and Bryan together make up the Bryan-College Station metropolitan area, the 13th-largest metropolitan area in Texas with 273,101 people as of 2019.
College Station is home to the main campus of Texas A&M University, the flagship institution of the Texas A&M University System. The city owes both its name and existence to the university's location along a railroad. Texas A&M's triple designation as a Land-, Sea-, and Space-Grant institution reflects the broad scope of the research endeavors it brings to the city, with ongoing projects funded by agencies such as NASA, the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, and the Office of Naval Research.

Good old College Station and I definitely know all those roads you took and the sights and my dad used to work for the fire department in College Station.

Always miss!! I lived there for 6years. I can close my eye and drawing every places where I went and it was so beautiful memories.

Moved here from San Diego CA, a regrettable decision, should have moved to San Marcos TX or New Braunsfels.

Lack of amenities, huge age disparity in groups, bad dating scene, bad climate when compared to San Diego but that’s a given, the one good thing is it’s almost dead center to most major cities in Texas.

There is nothing special about college station. Probably the most boring and racist town I’ve ever lived in. Crime rate is getting higher too and the roads are 24/7 congested. Don’t move here unless you want to hate your life.
Compared to Houston its not congested at all. In my opinion Bryan could use some some newer and taller buildings downtown.
College Station sucks!!
It’s pretty much a business town of course the roads are going to be like that, no one I’ve met is racist, it’s not boring there is is a lot of parks where I live, and all the crime happened like 4 to 5 years ago it rarely happens now.
