YEAH, they exist, these prototypes are based on Ape veichles, you usually see them racing in hillclimb slalom events or sort of rallycross events, i'm not sure they're ment to be sent around mx tracks, however, these things are cool AF
@@jdgreenfriend yes only people close with the creators of the game have access to the Dev Build to help with input on improving the game. Lynds has talked about it a few times throughout his TrackDayR videos. I’m sure this buggy will be in the next update!
if you don’t have 2fps when you launch it, maybe, it looks beautiful like the graphics but my computer. a lenovo ideapad 14 inch can’t run track day r but can run mx bikes without reshade just fine
if they add atvs, this will be the best atv game ever released. the physics just seem to work with 3 wheels, i don't see why they wouldn't work even better with 4
The TrackdayR dev team starting to resemble the Kel-Tec R&D team at this point lol Edit after watching through the video: as an avid VR user and someone who often sings its praises, VR is not great, and dare I say not even enjoyable, for MX Bikes. And this is coming from someone with 4,000+ hours clocked in SteamVR and exclusively play my (4 wheeled) racing sims in VR. The implementation of VR in MX Bikes just doesn't work well with the type of game that it is. Unless you're a very rare edge case, VR will not make you better or faster in Bikes and will just likely slow you down to "just keep it on two wheels/on the track" pace your first few times in the headset. I personally lose my rider and bike way too easily in VR, and despite having no issues with motion sickness in VR I tend to get quite dizzy and on the verge of motion sickness myself when trying to play MX Bikes with my headset. If you want a VR headset because you think VR is cool technology, absolutely give it a shot, and maybe even try to find a VR arcade you can go and visit. Most take great care of their equipment and have sanitary practices rivaling those of some restaurants. Maybe one would even let you sign into your steam account and spin a lap or two on Bikes if you get lucky. But if you want VR just to try out MX Bikes in VR, you'll be sorely disappointed and probably come away feeling like VR is a bit of a sham or a gimmick, and quite possibly bent over the toilet or sink for a couple of minutes. If you do end up getting a headset, a very motion sickness friendly game is Beat Saber, its what I put most of my mates into when they first try on a headset. You stand still and hit blocks coming at you to music. Think Dance Dance Revolution or Just Dance but with your arms. And once you got your VR legs, one of my go to favorite time sinks in VR is a simple yet deep flight sim called VTOL VR. If you do go to an arcade they'll probably have plenty of titles they'll recommend for newcomers that I can't think of right now and staff will more than likely be ready and willing to make a few suggestions.
this thing flying around Neuquen is probably the highlight of my day

Tbh a quad like a yfz450r would’ve actually worked significantly better since you can still throw whips and control them 100%
Note to all the native English speakers, Ape is pronounced like app, not like the monkey. :)
@@PedroPioLopes Honestly needed that, thank you
@@StaySmoked i got

That’s an Ape Piaggio, it’s a common vehicle used in Italy. An amazing vehicle

You don’t have the Dev Build
@@Griffin283 is the dev build something that only certain people, such as streamers, have access to?
