It was worth showing the split of the sky, otherwise the force could not be shown normally. Or you could also show Kaido's strength, for example, how he one shot Luffy. For example, I haven't watched the movie RED, and I can't imagine what the devil fruit of Uta is capable of, but I just know that it is powerful within the OP world. But how will this attack by Luffy and Shanks show their strength to those who have no idea what they are hitting at all?

The former could be CSM, JJK, and whatever else you'd wanna do- (though you'd have more fun doing this if you include manga stuff,) and the latter would be characters that have sacrificed themsleves. Like Code Geass, AOT, and Re:Zero.
